"Stayed here for 9 nights during a recent trip. The rooms were small but funky (I was travelling alone, so the small room wasn’t a problem, with two people with luggage it would have been more of a squeeze). I appreciated the fact the rooms had a fridge and a kettle, and each floor had a water bottle refill station. One of my favourite unexpected things was the lobby/lounge area. Everyone seemed to just hang out there all day! It was the perfect spot to do some work (they even have a long desk), grab a coffee and sit on the couches and read / work, or catch up with people. The location is also excellent; very close ("

"The standout feature of this property is the staff. The rooms are nice, if of a certain style. The bed was comfortable. The lobby is buzzy and a great place to meet up with friends. But the staff, at every turn, were friendly and above-and-beyond helpful. Thanks to the employees of Ace Hotel Brooklyn for rounding out our good experience in New York this weekend."

"Six stays at the Ace Brooklyn have been wonderful. Front desk service is exemplary and professional. Housekeeping is diligent and responsive. Christmas was lovely and our family throughly enjoyed our dinner at As You Are. Bar is quiet and at times lively. Perfect for all gatherings. "The reviews are real. The rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious. The bathroom is modern with a huge vanity. Location is perfect with everything within a few minutes walk, including the subway which is just across the street. But the staff is the reason I will be back. Everyone was attentive and lovely. Felt like a VIP all week and I don't impress easily. I never stay the same place twice when visiting NYC but will definitely stay here again."

"Service and Location is the best. I definitely need to say the front office stay (esp. the one guy forgot his name) was so friendly and welcoming, he deserves an appreciation. The rooms are newly remodeled but the quality of the remodel was pathetic but look very modern. You will realize when you stay :) and relate to what I meant. The rooms have the best views. I stayed for a couple of days and it was easy to get in/out to anything within the Brooklyn downtown. No free breakfast in the morning but have complimentary coffee and complimentary water bottles in the room."
