"I lived here for a couple of years: Soundproof is BAD, they’re not responsive to repairs, they change policies to charge tenants for some amenities use. Impossible to reach their office, so if you’re locked out of your unit, you’re in trouble; they’ll even charge you for using their extra keys. For what they charge, it’s not a good deal at all. They’re not kind, or ethical, owners."
"Listed as 107 Columbia Heights on StreetEasy. No sound proofing. I’ve slept about three hours a night since we moved in. Our windows leak cold air, so it’s always cold. I had cheap college apartments that stayed warmer. If you lock yourself out, the doormen are required to charge you $50 to hand you your key. Forget about using the lounge to wfh, as three nannies sit in there all day long with kids yelling, toys everywhere and we even saw them changing diapers on the couch. Our move in was difficult, because it took them months to execute our lease. It wasn’t completed until a month after we moved in. After two months, we don’t have access to the system to make work orders, so it’s challenging to get things fixed. It’s not the buildings fault, but the closest grocery store is really overpriced and sells expired goods. The gym looks nice, but I am always too tired from being kept up all night to use it. In the two months we’ve been here, I saw a roach run down the hallway. Only one, but still. There’s a woman at management that has been helpful and the building staff is kind. But, you are paying steep rents for a whole lot of problems. We have serious buyers remorse."
"I loved living here: The attentive staff, the quick responses to maintenance requests, the location, the noise insulation (if you're a light sleeper that is a must), the cleanliness, and that rooftop. Management can be frustratingly slow to respond, and can come across as inflexible but, in the end, they were quite decent and didn't charge any ridiculous move out fees, or lease transfer fees. I would live there again for sure."

"Management here consist of complete bozos. Take days to respond to any request (even a request for a phone call), DO NOT understand how to react when an issue is presented. I wouldn't be surprised if management here was hired straight off the street. Most unprofessional organization I have ever dealt with."
