"Reviewing as a current resident. The building super is very unreliable. In order to have your repair requests processed you have to make a formal claim. I moved in Nov 1st and since have made 2 requests to have my heater repaired because the 1st one wasn't honored. The super has not repaired my heater, but instead informed me that he'd be deleting my 1st request since it's the same as my 2nd. When I inquired further about the heater situation the super told me that everyone's unit is like that including his own room. My heater currently has a hole that's constantly letting air out which isn't ideal for an nyc winter. In my first week living here there was a massive trash fire outside my window. Becuade of the hole of my wall (basically)I was breathing in that smoke. This is hazardous"

"Posting for anyone who is thinking about moving to this building. I moved in in 2021 after getting a Covid deal, and the management has done nothing but consistently try to raise the rent exorbitant amounts since then. Upon re-signing our lease, we had negotiated a rent price that we felt was reasonable, and the management backed out, reneged on their offer and further increased it. Since I've moved in, the quality of service at the front desk and in other amenity spaces has also gone downhill. None of the door people remember your name or apartment number. Nobody takes care of the roof (furniture is consistently broken/dirty), grills are broken and the gym frequently has non-functioning air conditioning. It's borderline impossible to get ahold of someone to speak with to resolve any of these issues. The rent is unjustifiable, particularly given how little care is shown to residents."

"Lived in this building for over a year, had to leave only b/c of COVID-19. This building is great - stylish, with good amenities and really down-to-earth people. Jonathan the super is friendly, helpful, and really reasonable (hard to find in a super), Hassan is a fantastic concierge (a gem), along with Monique who's smile will brighten your day whenever you walk in or out. The cleaning staff is also super friendly and great at what they do. Close to a lot of great stuff, including Eastern Parkway itself, the unofficial dog park at Mt. Prospect Park, bars like Franklin Park and of course Joe And Sals pizza which is IMO the most underrated pizza place in NYC."
