"Building is well maintained and the neighborhood is nice and quite.( the downside is we are still in East New York so you know what that means ) five minutes walk to the Gateway Center. Each floor has two laundry rooms equipped with four washers and dryers (it’s not free, a card will be provided but you have to load the card with money ) also there are parking spaces for a fee (not open to tenants yet) . No gym . There’s a bike room but since the building is not fully occupied it is not open . ONE THING TO BE AWARE OF IS PACKAGES ARE BEING STOLEN. Since we live in a deserted area cars are being vandalized ( my car was parked on Egan st and Fountain ave to my surprise they broke the passenger glass and stole the airbag) the bldg has plenty of parking spaces empty and they don’t want to open it . So please be aware if you have a car you might think twice about moving here ."
"I’m writing this based on my own experience and the past few months of being a tenant here. The first few weeks moving and living here was fine, but I soon noticed loud noises coming from the units adjacent and above mine. A water pipe (which for some reason is above my bedroom) makes a loud, flushing sound every time the upstairs neighbors would use it. The ventilation system that is in the kitchen would occasionally leak water. Management is non-existent; I’ve tried calling and physically talking to them in the offices but I’m always met with empty promises and a false sense of urgency. I’ve made multiple attempts and requests for accommodations to minimize noise and other issues with this unit but it’s always the same “we’ll make a note of it and send it to our supervisor” shtick over and over again, when these issues could be a potentially quick fix if management and maintenance could work with me. I am a disabled tenant who works and is going to school at home, and is very sensitive to certain noise frequencies. Having to deal with it all throughout the day and night where you couldn’t sleep or do any type of work that requires you to think is not good for anyone’s health. Luckily my lease ends soon so I can plan to move out and never look back but if you are planning on getting housing here, be mindful of where your unit is in the building and you’d better be able to deal with sleep-deprecating noises. And don’t expect any help from management whatsoever."
"Question does anyone have the contact information to this building, or should I just go there to receive information?"
