"Rugby square told me And my husband we weren’t approved to rent from them, but look at god!! Rugby square been deemed unfit for living per code enforcement…our god doesn’t play about us! They tried to get over on good ppl and god showed them how they getting over on more than us!! We definitely dodged a bullet and actually was able to find a whole house!!!! I hope everyone going thru things at rugby square is helped beyond messures! Sounds like some legal action need to be tooken against these ppl"
"poor management. mold on walls and bathroom ceilings, the mold festers all around the room especially during the summer time or when it gets too hot in the room. can’t turn the heater on by yourself and it makes awful hissing noises as they’re turning it on. tenants don’t bother to clean up after their dogs, they leave their dogs feces on the grass or on the porch. if you love smelling cigarettes indoors, you’ll love this apartment complex. management cares more about taking your rent money than fixing up the apartments."
"I came to visit a friend in building 117 and this is what I see. This is a Health hazard. No one should live like this. This is ridiculous.."
"The apartment buildings are old. There’s mold everywhere the hallway ceiling are collapsing. There’s mold all in the bathroom. The rugs smell like dog! When are the apartments going to be updated? It’s 2023. This is unacceptable!"
"If you’re a student or someone on a budget, this is a nice place to live. You really do get what you pay for. Leaks in the ceiling that leave plaster falling onto the floor, inconsistent heating you have no control over, and thin walls so you can hear everything going on from all the apartments around you. I lived here for 16 months while going to school and overall it was decent. The leasing office is quick to get you in but takes their time to get you out. I emailed weeks before moving out only to sign the paper ONE DAY before leaving. And they make you sign it in person so obviously it had to be done before I left. They like to give you the run around and I’m confused why they don’t just do their job. As for the location, it’s very good and close to SU, the mall, major highways, major hospitals. The complex is kind of in the middle of the very nice Sedgwick area on one side and a little less safe area on the other side. Didn’t always feel safe leaving or returning at night. The rent was very cheap and affordable and the apartment was cute and updated but like I said, you get what you pay for. Overall I’d recommend to someone on a budget but if you can afford a nicer place, go for it."
