"I stayed in this motel on November 16-17 2023 and paid my $50 deposit in cash. Unfortunately on checkout, I forgot to request for my deposit back and it was not returned to me. I have written so many emails to the property manager & no answer from him. He didn't reply. I asked Expedia to trace this case, they also can't contact the property manager. Very disappointed in this motels service or lack thereof. They are irresponsible to their guests. The manager wants to put my money in his pocket. This behaviour is appalling. Just greed. If Google had a zero star rating, this is what I would give this motel."
"Absolutely horrible. Extremely rude owners. The rooms have disgusting stains and bloodstains on the curtains. And apparently you don't get a refund if you stay longer than 20 minutes, which is neither advertised or told as you walk in. Only go here if you want to be treated like trash and get infections."
"The whole place smells like smoked cigarettes, I got a no smoking room, and still the whole room smells of cigarettes. Also, it was freezing because a window was left open and there wasn't a screen. Additionally, when I entered the room, I noticed the TV was left on and the blue light from it would prevent me from sleeping. I like to have pitch black, but the remote control was missing so I couldn't turn it off. Since the TV is up high and I'm very short I couldn't unplug or press the power button directly on it. Last complaint about the room itself is that it seemed to be dirty, there were a large number of stains on the cushion by the window. Would recommend that gets replaced. I went to the front desk after spending about 15 min in my room to ask for help with heat and the TV issue. I also wanted to point out the dirtiness and express my unhappiness with the Inn overall. The person was nice and tried to help, but ultimately it sounded like switching rooms would make more sense. So, back to the front desk we went, I also recalled that on the Inn's direct website it said breakfast is included but evidently that isn't the case. It's coffee only. (I'm not talking about a 3rd party site) DIRECTLY on the INN website it said breakfast included... not just free coffee in the lobby. So once again I was disappointed. Thus, I asked for a full refund to be processed and apologized that I couldn't stay there. Ended up staying across the street for just $10 more at Red Roof Inn. This room is bigger, more private, as a mini fridge and microwave, a king size bed that was more comfortable and a more modern decor. Also, the flat screen TV & heat worked. Really glad I made the move. Highly recommend not staying, unless you are ok with nasty cigarette smoke smells. Would recommend bringing a whole can of air freshener for each hour you spend in a room or else you could get second hand smoke."
"The whole place smells like smoked cigarettes, nearly vomited while walking to my room because it was so bad. I got a no smoking room because I have bad reactions to the smell and such, the whole room smells of cigarettes. Tried opening a window and half the screen was out, great way to let bugs in. Pretty sure someone had a dog in the other room cause it was barking at next to midnight. Outside the building smells like grasshopper pee, super gross. Would recommend bringing a whole can of air freshener for each hour you spend in a room or else you could get second hand smoke."
"Maybe I was expecting too much for the price, but I wish we had stayed elsewhere for a bit more money. The location was fine and there was plenty of parking. The immediate issue when we walked into the lobby was the general smell of cigarette smoke. The person who checked us in was fine - not particularly rude or friendly. Walking into our room, for which we only had one key card between the two of us, we discovered it to be quite cold! I appreciate coming in out of the heat, but the AC didn't need to be at 61. I wish that had been the biggest issue. One of the built-in dresser drawers kept falling off its rails when it was opened. The TV couldn't maintain reception, and there was a large separation between the frame and the screen, so backlight poured out for several inches along the top. We didn't mention either issue since we weren't planning on using the drawers or the TV, anyway. We did, however, need to do something about the bed. The mattress covers and fitted sheet were quite stained with dark patches of various sizes. Also, there were only two incredibly thin pillows provided. The bathroom and towels seemed to be pretty clean. Another major issue was the complete lack of breakfast being served. Of course, some places do and some don't; the issue is we specifically picked this place in large part because they claim online to serve a complimentary breakfast. When I asked the same employee about it, he said they don't and haven't at least in the recent past. We had only planned on staying one night, and we were thankful to be getting out of there that soon. Be aware that you may find an extra $50 processing on your credit card. We were never informed of this presumed security deposit. It went through but was also immediately refunded a couple days after our visit. Overall, this might work for you as a place for a quick crash, but that's about it."
