DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Syracuse

"This hotel was okay, I arrived early and they had a room but it was one of their worst rooms. They should have told me, I would have waited for a better room. When I checked in I left my folder with important documents, I noticed about 5 hours later that it was missing. When I went to the front desk to check about the folder, the woman who check me in said that she realized it was mine right after I checked in. Why did she not call me right then? If I had not noticed it was missing I would have left without it. Very poor customer service! Diamond member FYI."

"Very nice staff. Clean and large lobby area. Only issue was no "bath gel" in the bath gel dispenser. Other than that was a good place. About a 10 minute shuttle ride to SYR (every 30 minutes starting at 4am). You do need to get your name on a list."

"My fire department had our annual installation and awards banquet here, and everything was amazing! Good food, great staff, and the facility was very well kept. The ballroom was incredible, and my hotel room was great as well!"

"Place was so bad I'm not sure I'd ever stay at a DoubleTree again. Signs say they are renovating the place, but it seems to be extremely haphazard. Freshly painted entryway walls and two layers of dated wallpaper in the rest of the room. Why not just do the whole room? They have a restaurant on site, but it's far too expensive for the quantity and quality offered. As a reference, i checked the airport restaurants when I was flying out. They are less expensive and provide more for your money. My last night there, I'm getting ready for bed, and I see there's two inches of water in my tub that wasn't there in the morning. I wasn't going to stay up late waiting for service, so let it go. The next morning, it had drained but left gunk. I showered then washed my feet in the sink. I told the front desk and was promised some recompensation to my bill. That never happened."

"I love the hospitality they provided to us. Me and my friends enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms were clean, and neat. The room service were fast and adequate! I personally fell in love with the free cookies provided at the front desk, it was so delicious!"
