Reviews
"Cotswold Marketplace is consistently a disappointing experience. While there is a decent selection of higher quality furnishings, there are also many items originally from stores like HomeGoods that are marked up astronomically. The employees are aloof and unhelpful. If you are looking for custom furniture, linens, etc. I would highly recommend going elsewhere where the employees value you as a client."
"Cool little hidden gem for decor and miscellaneous home goods!"
"I'm giving it 1 star because there are some nice items available. I chose, however, not to purchase anything as the people that work there are pretentious and rude. There were 4 employees at the large front desk that we walked past 3 times and not one person raised their head or greeted us in any way. A few times while we walked around the employees walked past us and again did not acknowledge our existence. Finally, the prices are high. There was a piece that I saw at HomeGoods (the exact same piece, same manufacturers label) that was substansitally higher (I know because I considered buying it at HomeGoods). Little do the salespeople know that my husband and I just moved to NC and have been spending quite a bit of money furnishing our home with furniture and accessories. Their loss, I won't go back."
"Great ideas. Nice to have arranged in one location. Easy to get to. Just beware - before you purchase an item be sure you inspect it very well. Bought a rug, unrolled it looked for spots and blemishes etc. none. She said the crease would come out. 6 months later and many attempts- it did not. So it is unusable. Bought placemats straight from display. So i had to move a set of glasses from them. They are perfect shape, color etc. - but. Now i know why the glasses were on top of the stack. Without weight, the edges curl up. Replaced the wool rug and bought several more sisals for my home at Hall’s. Better selection and price for same manufacturer. Better customer service too. They actually thank you for shopping there. All sales are final the sign at the register reads. Well my final purchase was yesterday Not going back."
"Love the eclectic variety this shop offers. When visiting my sister… it’s the first place I stop. I recently purchased soft sisal rugs for multiple rooms in my home and the experience was flawless from selection to delivery. Associates are great!"
