"Great used book store. Huge selection. Helpful staff. Also has some new titles. They do take unwanted used books. Seems to be enough chairs to sit a spell. Prices have crept up a little recently. A good place."

"Staff are always friendly, love the mix of new and used (with discounts on new), and the prices are great! There's usually an extra % off coupon every receipt if you bring it in to your next trip, you can use store credit from book trade-ins, and some months they have an extra deal going on for even more discounts. This and The Book Lady in Monroe are my go-to used book stores in the area. Both have excellent genre fiction sections—particularly fantasy and sci-fi—which I find can often be barebones at some places. Oh, and if you check out their Facebook page, they sometimes post the current inventory per each section to give an idea of what they have. I also found out recently that if you make an account at checkout, they can let you know if you've purchased a copy of a book from them previously to help prevent accidentally buying duplicates. Very helpful for those long series."

"I love this book store! They have a really nice variety and everything is organized well on the shelves. They have a selection of new books in addition to their previously loved stock. They don't do cash back for books, but they do give store credit and they are far more generous than other bookstores I've been to. The only drawback I could find is that the space is a bit crowded and you may have trouble navigating the shelves if you're using a mobility device."

Linda and her dedicated crew have been beyond excellent through all of my needs... from my daughter's required school reading... to my leisure reading... and now children's books for my grandchild. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Whatever your reading needs... they can help. If they don't have it... they will look it up online and tell you where you can get it. "I visited the Book Rack while I was in Charlotte- overall impressed with the selections and the quality of the books. The store is quite large and has all sort of genres available. Staff members were super friendly too. They have some sort of membership system, where you get a certain discount after certain amount of purchase and occasionally runs monthly specials. Overall highly recommended!"
