After reading and hearing about "the best fried chicken in Charlotte" at a gas station from Thrillist, Observer, Agenda... I had to see for myself what these crackpots were talking about. The claims were so outrageous that it just might be true. Wrong!!! In fact, this is the most expensive crappy chicken I have ever had. Coming in at nearly $2/piece, it was an utter disappointment. Publix is far better at 1/2 the cost. The only ranking their fried chicken would receive is somewhere in the top 10 worst fried chicken in the world. The chicken itself was dry and chewy. The batter was uneven and just skin in some parts. You could taste where the batter was not mixed evenly and some bites would overpower your taste buds with salt. I feel cheated and want my money back!"
