"When I first moved here as Carver Falls, it was really nice. The grounds were clean and the shrubs and beds around the buildings were maintained. It was generally quiet and safe. I requested an apartment for non-smokers. At that point, smoking was not allowed in the apartments - only outside. Currently, the grounds are covered with dog feces and garbage, especially in the back of the complex. If you report someone, I'm sure there must be no follow-up because I see the same inconsiderate offenders repeatedly NOT picking up after their pets. The pond has garbage in it, so it's nothing to look at. The beds around the building are semi-covered in the terrible pine straw which is all over the sidewalk and half washed out of the beds. It attracts snakes as there was a copperhead sunning near the sidewalk by our building. There's even dog feces in the beds directly under resident's windows and on some resident patios. The unsanitary nature of it is just too much. Can offenders be incentivized to comply by charging huge fines for this inconsiderate behavior? You can't even walk in the grass near my apartment. When I "renewed" my lease (renew means under the same conditions; new lease would be if complex policies had changed), they didn't inform me of new/revised resident policies. Now the biggest problem is a new resident directly below me. They smoke a lot in the apartment directly below me, and my apartment reeks of smoke. I am a high risk for cancer and specifically requested to not be impacted by smoking. The Carver Falls policy on smoking was one of the main reasons I chose to live there. Why in the world would you put a smoker directly below a nonsmoker? There should be planning that stipulates certain buildings are smoke-free while others can be targeted for smokers. The effects on my health are already bothersome, but this exposure is uncalled for considering my health risks. In addition, they have a sub-woofer that they use to play music which vibrates my floor. I can't even watch TV in my apartment comfortably when it is playing. We used to have a community officer to deal with these issues, but since she moved out, I've heard of no replacement person to contact for noise complaints. My rent was raised with new management because of "new upgrades to the community." The place has done a 180 to poor quality. I have zero benefit and now have to deal with problems interfering with my health and sleep. On a positive note, when I request maintenance, it gets handled quickly. Whatever the case, that does not account for the lower quality of life I am currently experiencing. I would never recommend this place with the current policies that excuse the owners/managers from liabilities."
"I’ve been living here for almost 6 months now and I can’t wait to leave! The pests (roaches) for this complex are ridiculous! I’ve asked for my apartment to be sprayed at least 3 times and have bought my own pest control substances to have no relief!!! Management here sucks!! It seems like every month there’s a problem or something else added to the bill! Kira Torres acts as if you’re her child and not her tenant and honestly doesn’t give a damn about what’s going on within the complex. Definitely am not considering staying here when my lease is up. Hurry up May!!!"
"I have lived at this location for over three years. I have gone from old management to new management. I am about 25 min from post and usually never experience traffic on my way in or out, which is a huge plus. The price I have paid here is outstanding because of the competition in the area; not including of how expensive it has become to live near post. Needless to say if you are military you get your bang for your buck for bah. The only bill you pay is electric which for me has never gone over $160 a month. The apartments are updated and the facility has amazing amenities. When old management was in control they played favorites with residents. Some residents had cheaper rates and had work done faster inside their apartments from maintenance. The old team was rude and had a very unprofessional attitude to be in customer service. If you expected the grass to be mowed and hedges to be trimmed, good luck. If expected the trash point to be clean, good luck. When it came to maintenance issues even after talking to the maintenance crew they would take parts from apartments not in use to fix your problems because of money issues. The pool at the time was disgusting, they had run down grills and broken down pool furniture, and the volley ball court was a mess. In their brochure it stated a basketball court which was a basketball pole inside a parking spot with no net. They also stated an on site car wash which was a water hose and a vacuum. They had keg parties, the pool and jaquzzi had no boundaries ive seen people having sex and getting trashed with no supervision. Needless to say the facility was being run into the ground. Then heaven had opened its gates and a company called Monarch at liberty pointe had bought them out. Since the new management has taken over they treat everyone equally. From day one they started working on the amenities. The pool is actually kid safe, the volley ball court is up and running, the fake car wash and basketball court is no longer falsely displayed as an amenitie. They called in landscapers and actually took care of the lawns, trees, bushes, and flowers. They called in painters which this place has needed since ive arrived. They replaced the old weathered signs. They are still working to actually turn this place into a reputable place to live; one you can call home. I have had nothing but good things to say about the staff since they have arrived, and I have waited to write this review to get a feel of the atmosphere. So if you are reading this and are military, look beyond some of the negative reviews because phase(2) is the old management and I would be salty too if someone came in and turned my mess into a success."
"I moved into Phase II ironically the day Phase 1 had switched to the new management. I do not at all regret that decision. Since Phase I has been under new management there has been terrible customer service to the current residents and/or the residents at Phase II (who are still on the property using the amenities of the apartment complex as a whole). The pool has been closed for most of the summer and has closed AGAIN for maintenance. The pool was open for all of a week this summer! Experiences using the amenities managed by Libert Pointe (Phase I) has been terrible so far. My guest and I packed up food and headed to the pool with a 2 yr old to grill out and swim, however the grill had been taken out without notice given. During our time at the pool we noticed that the pool light was just dangling in the pool. Same guest with a child was with me a few days after to enjoy the pool with myself and her daughter, however when we go to THE GATE OF THE POOL we realized it had been closed again. We obviously couldn't swim which caused a melt down with a 2 year old who was told we were going swimming. If the new management communicated with the Phase II management our residents would have known. I went to my management to communicate with them of the pool being closed and they were unaware of the closure since Liberty Pointe (Phase I) did not communicate this to the Phase II management. Still Liberty Pointe fails to communicate with Phase II who use amenities of the whole apartment complex. I called my management asking if any updates have been given to them and the response was along the lines of THEY WILL NOT release that information to us but if you try calling they may give a different response. What management company refuses to communicate with a partnering management company? Also, pool hours have been changed since Liberty Pointe took over. The pool used to be open until 10 or 11 on the weekends which gave time to use the pool without it being crowded with children. There WAS time for enjoy the pool without it being crowded with children. However, during the week it was open so far this summer that is no longer possible during the new hours. I would suggest living at Phase II with better management and communication, however we at Phase II are still experience the major inconvenience of the way Liberty Point (Phase I) is handling the amenities and the lack of cumminication."
"I used to love these apartments when they were under original management (2014). I absolutely HATE the management we have now and I am counting down the days until my lease is up ! I do NOT recommend anyone to live here. They don't help you in any matter, they could careless about the amenities. All they care about is getting there rent! Wash room is rarely EVER working, Issues with the pool and grill area smh it's ridiculous."
