"My family and I have lived here for over a year and it has been a great experience. We were moving from Greensboro and the leasing staff offered virtual tours due to distance. They found us the apartment that met all of our needs and were punctual with all communication and paperwork. Maintenance has been quick and reliable when work orders have been submitted. We love that there is a community officer onsite! We are very happy with our home here!"

"My wife and I moved in to Independence Park Apartments from out of state 1.5 years ago and we've loved being here. We've been impressed with the management and how friendly and on top of it they are. They go above and beyond to accommodate us and we've really enjoyed living in these apartments. The maintenance team has also been quick to help whenever we submit a maintenance request, and they are friendly as well which is definitely a plus. We love the updated gym and the ability to go there in the early mornings before work. We also love walking around the pond near our building in the evenings; it is very picturesque. Something I especially appreciate about living here is that if an error is made, Tamika and Meredith and their team are quick to own it/ hear us out and do all they can to remedy it. When looking for a place to live, we spoke to a variety of different apartment complexes/management teams. We are so glad we chose Independence Park because of the management team here. I would recommend it to anyone looking to move to the Durham area."

"I have never been treated so poorly. I was hung up on by their front office when expressing my concerns with the fact they've taken away the on-site laundry with no warning. Which is stated in the leasing contract that they can and will do at any minute. Their only solution they offered was a washer/dryer renting company they partnered with. Also how the apartments are a mess from all the trash and food left on the stairs from the trash valet that rarely, if at all, gets properly cleaned up. There's usually a lot of food mess and other liquids left over. I have also not been the only resident to complain about management. They seem to deal with complaints often. I've dealt with an AC unit that was broken for several months, a leaking pipe in my bathroom, mold, blinds so old they fell off the window and again, the constant trash and garbage liquid from the trash fairies. Management does not seem to check if anything is actually don't properly, or has been completed. I've had to call them and tell them multiple times an issue wasn't fixed and they had no idea each time. They also hardly pick up the phone and don't return missed calls. The one thing I've requested of this place is the follow up to make sure things are done properly and call people back since they rarely pick up the phone but they don't even seem to want to do that. I see the new 5 star reviews and I just wonder if they're even real or not because many of the other residents here seem exhausted with antics from management."

"Independence Park's property management is nothing less than amazing. From the time that my roommate and I were shopping for apartments, until now they have been more than helpful and supportive towards my roommate and I with whatever we're seeking to get accomplished. I, personally, ran into a situation in regards to the renewal of my lease. I was able to walk into the leasing office and speak with one our wonderful property managers without any wait. Within no time, we came up with a solution and had several laughs in the process. Independence Park Apartments is easily 5 stars for their service, living space and everything else that you would be looking for in apartments. I thank you guys again for everything!
