"The absolute worst Marriott property we have dealt with as to date. After checking in & once we made it to the room, we realized that it was not big enough to accommodate myself, my significant other, and my son. Subsequently, I went and spoke to the manager, and she confirmed that there were no upgraded rooms available at the hotel. I asked if there was a way to close out my reservation and get my points back. The manager confirmed that would be fine and that they could indeed refund the points. She also stated and I quote, “I will add 2000 points to your account in addition for the trouble”. The days that followed, we waited for the points to be added back to my significant other’s account. And after phone call after phone call, there was a blatant denial that a promise was ever given to refund the point total, no recollection from the management team, that that was ever promised, and that we would not be receiving the points. The most disheartening of all that has taken place is, the management teams disregard for both mine and my significant others integrity being called into question. ~ Sincerely a Titanium Status Marriott Bonvoy Member"

"We had a medical emergency at Duke University and they were so kind to help us with room accommodations. And for that, we will be forever grateful. Audrey, at the front desk, was great. The only issue we had was their lack of staff to clean rooms. We went 5 days without having any service and they just did not have people to clean the rooms. And when they did have a person, they did work all day and couldn't get to ours , and ours was always next. So please if you need a job or you know someone that does need a job and doesn't mind helping others, like cleaning rooms in this industry, call them, send them to these people, the Courtyard Marriott... they're great! Wonderful, caring staff. Thank you for everything. ❤️"

"I will not stay here again. Location good right off interstate. Room smelled musty. Did not recognize our titanium status. Bar did not have cherries for the signature cherry old fashion as advertised in all the posters. Bar was out of tonic water, too. Hotel in 2 sections. Have to be sure to go up the side your room is on. We went up and down 3 times to get to our room. Pomodoros restaurant next door was good."
