"I have lived in this place for almost 5 years. Basically, sometimes comments on Google are from people who have had bad experiences, but this time I want to give an objective review of this place where I've lived for 5 years. When I first arrived, it was called Parc at University Tower, and the decoration style was a bit outdated. In the second year, the property management changed to Chandler. The renovation style improved a lot, and the renewed apartments are very comfortable to live in. The apartment has a gym, a dog park, and a swimming pool. I personally think the price is relatively cheap, offering great value for money. It's very close to Duke, just a 6-minute drive away. There's access control, password locks, and the property's repair service is very timely. It's also nice to go for runs or walks nearby. There are many grocery stores around, like Sam's Club, Liming, and Target, all about a 2-minute drive away. Overall, there are many advantages. But future residents might want to know some downsides, and here are what I personally consider to be the cons for your reference: 1. The gym is relatively small and doesn't meet the needs of those who exercise regularly. It lacks equipment like large squat racks and bench presses. For fitness, a professional gym is recommended, as the community gym only caters to light exercise needs. 2. The older houses occasionally have ant or insects problems. This happened to me twice, possibly because some sweets in my house attracted them. They came out from the walls, but I solved it with ant poison. However, I haven't seen this problem in the past year. Due to graduation, I need to move away, but I would happily live here again if given the chance. I will miss the sunsets from my apartment. While I'd rate this place 4.3 stars, Google Reviews doesn't offer this option. Considering the current lower rating, I'll give it 5 stars instead. I hope this review helps."
"My husband and I have really enjoyed this place. Very friendly staff, great amenities. We love to play tennis, so we appreciate this being on site. Staff is very friendly and gets things taken care of quickly. We highly recommend this community."
"Chandler is an amazing place to live. Leasing experience, wonderful, highlights of the tour agent Ms Carmen. She was very helpful, responsive and welcoming. When we walked threw the apartment she asked what are the needs and she took the time to answer all the questions i had and last but not least she made sure i was ready to move in. The property manager very sweet and made sure i felt very welcome. Apartment very nice and clean. I work from home, I can't complain it's very quiet and peaceful. It's a great place to live, located close to all major shopping and restaurants."
"I've had nothing but good experiences at Chandler! I've lived here for about 5 months now. The apartment was exactly as pictured, and any maintenance issues we've had have been fixed in less than 24 hours (way better than anywhere else I've lived). The community has a working security gate, which is great for my peace of mind, though I've never felt unsafe here. I am a frequent user of the pool and gym. While the gym is small, it gets the job done. The treadmills were broken for several weeks, but when I spoke to management they explained they had to wait on the actual vendor to come fix the machine. The only downside is that there is only one dumpster for the entire complex. Luckily, I live right next to it but for those who live further away in the complex they have to drive their trash to the dumpster. The recycling bin is also always overflowing (which I guess is a good sign that everyone is recycling) but Chandler should schedule more frequent pickup days for recycling."
"Overall, I've had a good experience living at Chandler. This is a great apartment complex to have a dog. There is plenty of green space and a fenced dog park. The dog park and all other amenities have always been available to use as I've needed them. However, cockroaches will be in your apartment regardless of the floor you live on. Pest control comes once a week and you can request for them to come every week if you'd like, but if you have a pest emergency that needs to be taken care of right away, maintenance is good about taking care of that on the days pest control is not on-site. On the topic of maintenance, they do a good job and quality work if you are present in the unit while they are working. The maintenance staff are very friendly and I feel comfortable letting them into my unit. Although, there is a lack of preventative maintenance in my opinion. The office staff I've had the most interactions with are very professional, polite, and straight-forward. The gates to the complex do malfunction, but they are fixed in an acceptable amount of time. I feel safe on this property; no staff or other residents have made me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. Although improvements can always be made, I would say this is a good place for students, young people, and families to live."
