"Fantastic value for the money. Clean rooms, and incredibly friendly staff - the front desk, the room service, and breakfast staff. Also super friendly. For the price, which includes breakfast, it can't be beat. Location is clearly not walkable to downtown durham or chapel hill, but for our needs (visiting family over christmas on the outskirts of town), it was fantastic. I will state that SpringHill has really strange bathroom layouts - thats the reason for my 4 star on Rooms. It was clean and everything else was great, but the bathroom layout was odd."

"I usually rate Springhill hotels five stars. They are nice, clean, quiet and staff is great but I would have given this hotel seven stars if possible because of breakfast. Kudos to the people who run the kitchen. It was delicious and most importantly there were regular plates/silverware and not disposable ones. Totally impressed by that. I hope HQ rolls this out to other hotels to minimize trash."

"Stayed here 2 years ago, very nice. Now, showing wear. Wallpaper in halls frayed. Elevator key pad cracked, cute furniture. Room 317: I like the seperate toilet and shower and the overall room set up. carpet smells dirty (my allergies kicked in immediately), sofa stained, mold or water stain on ceiling, mold in bathroom, shower curtain moldy,, ac ran all night, ac control cracked, curtains falling down, towels and bedding worn, sticky toy on the ceiling, no soap in shower dispenser. I went down stairs and asked the staff to remove the toy from the ceiling and they were pleasant, but never removed it. This is definitely not a 4.5 property"

"I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was relaxing and hot. There were a lot of options for breakfast. It was easy to walk to a few places for dinner."

"Rooms were nice and plenty of space. Customer service was wonderful, free hot breakfast every morning. The gym was clean. Great location with a few places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Applebee's is closed, which is across the lot from the hotel. The hallway had a smell in the hotel. I will return, hotel was great for work."
