"Upon my arrival, I was met with a few hiccups, nothing overly alarming, but certainly discernible. However, I swiftly lodged a request for resolution and was pleasantly surprised to find the issues rectified by the following day. I understand that in any residential complex, there will invariably be a few discontented individuals, those who feel entitled and are reluctant to collaborate with the staff to rectify issues. Personally, I've never hesitated to approach the staff with any concerns about my unit, after all, it's a service I'm paying for. The team here has consistently exhibited exceptional efficiency and diligence. Having spent a significant chunk of my career in the service industry, I place immense value on customer service. No matter how perfect a place may seem, without a good customer service, it's not worth my time. The staff at Liberty complex is incredibly warm and welcoming. I had the privilege of working with Tara Skipper, the Assistant Manager, and her amiable demeanor made me feel like I was conversing with a friend. Her charisma and remarkable customer service skills played a significant role in my decision to move here. Let's face it, no complex is devoid of issues. However, the willingness and tenacity of the staff to ensure my comfort make these hiccups easy to overlook. Durham is a vibrant city that grows more exciting each year. If you're averse to excitement, music, markets, breweries, or dogs, I implore you to look elsewhere and not spoil the experience for those of us who call this home. I extend my sincere gratitude to Tara for aiding me in settling in..."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE Greystar is a pain to deal with. The apartment's, neighbors and streets are super noisy. Also if you do make the mistake of living here read your contract carefully. Make sure that you have someone do the exit walk through or they will stick you with a false charge. Fill out the intake form with very specific details and take photos of everything. When you move out Greystar will not respond to requests to dispute a charge. Staff was not great at dealing with resident issues or resolving issues with interior issues. All the building materials are cheap and break easily. STAY AWAY"
"As someone who deals with multifamily housing for service and renovations, I am very happy to be working with Bri Lowell, the Property Manager at Liberty Warehouse. Bri and her entire team are second to none when it comes to taking exceptional care of the property and residents. Liberty Warehouse is an absolute joy to work with and Greystar has an outstanding team here that makes sure this property a very desired place to call home."
"Weak insulation, you hear every footstep in every direction( some people upstairs are very heavy-footed and they shake the building when they walk in the hallway). Doors close loudly. And someone must be practicing saxophone, at 7:30 am on weekends!!! Can't tell where but very close to us!! Now, let me talk about the central park area!! Noisy! Noisy! All kinda events going on almost every day or evening, very loud. I sleep or stay in the closet when the noise starts, with earplugs of course.. Edit: 10/5/23. 7:32 am) dear manager, thanks for the reply. And I assure you that I am in your records as tenant. I witnessed the workers building new patio area( another potential spot for people to make noise close to midnight) and barbecue set. I watched another set of workers replacing the carpet in the hallway, I parked my car the night number of vehicles were vandalized in the garage. Just few things to prove that I am in your records."
"All the amenities you could ask for plus a great location. Cross the street to the Farmer's Market. Durham Food Hall literally at your feet. Walk to restaurants, bars, and even DPAC. Staff is kind, responsive, and building is exceptionally maintained. Neighbors are nice, too."
