"Valentin and Vasily installed tile flooring (primarily a difficult 6x36 porcelain) on roughly 550 sqft of basement living space, including a kitchen, livingroom, and bedroom. This included demoing and removing the old floors (a combination of laminate and tile), installing an uncoupling membrane, working around a spiral staircase, and correcting for unevenness in the ~45 y/o concrete. They arrived at about 8AM and left around 5AM every business day of the project, which took a week and a half. They were diligent and curteous, and they completed the work efficiently without cutting corners or compromising on any minor detail. As artisans, they are considerate enough to ask for input on achieving a client's desired aesthetic, but confident enough to work without needing direction or input from the client on any of the unexpected variables they encounter during an install. The results are beautiful and undeniably professional. For this project, we were willing to invest in integrity and quality, which Asheville Tile delivered. While they may not have been the cheapest option, they stayed true to their original estimate, and there were no surprises with pricing during the job or after it was completed. Anna was very helpful as a contact, willing to walk me through the uncertainties, clarify details, and brainstorm on ideas. A great experience all around. I will not hesitate to recommend Asheville Tile to anybody in need of professional tile work."
