"The pool has been closed since April management has given no update residence. Have never seen any construction going on down there. Just paying amenities fee for no good reason most of us really only cared for the pool & sauna. All of the toys are broken in the playroom. The floor is dirty & missing foam letters that my child kept tripping over I don’t even waste time to go down there anymore. I highly doubt its really being sanitized and cleaned as it states on the door. The rooftop is basically a dog park filled with dog feces and urine. Management does not seem to care there is no curb your dog sign up there. Residents that do let their dog pee & poo on the roof your very nasty for that. Even the super who is quick to be on your a** for every little thing takes his dog to pee on the roofs “furniture”. Also for such a huge rooftop space they did the bare minimum with seating areas. Not good for hosting anything up there! Smell travels through the vents so if your neighbor is cooking or smoking it will be very pungent in your apartment. The hallways & lobby are well kept I will say that."

"I am writing this to shed light to this building. I moved in with my wife about 8 months ago. The building overall is decent with minor management flaws. The main reason I am paying a higher rent than others for a larger apartment is for the amenities, Such as the Pool, Sauna & Jacuzzi. They have been under "renovation" witch is not the case. I peaked through the glass door and looks like the pool has been drained and never seen a construction team on site. They have been misleading us as paying tenants to our rights. I have formally complained to the DOB regarding these issues and seek compensation on the missing components to the building without notice... 2442 Management and Lay Assets GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER........"

"I really didn’t want to write this but I just couldn’t get over what happened I really felt like I needed to share it. I know how detrimental a review can be which is why I was fighting myself to write this. I always wanted to live in this building since it was built. It looked so luxurious and it had a great location. I was so excited when I saw an apartment become available I went to go see it. Although the doorman the first person who I saw was a little on the snobby side and slightly rude I was so excited to be there I didn’t care. The broker was really nice and I thought he was very genuine at the time. He was very thorough and I LOVED IT. Loved everything. It had great amenities and the apartment layout was very nice. I loved the building so much I was willing to overlook no wash/dry in the unit, and several other things. I ended up telling the broker I wasn’t sure if I would move there but just wanted to see if I would get approved first. I paid the very small fee. At the time I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Twelve documents later and several weeks of them deliberating still wasn’t enough. Midway when they decided to tell me “oh we made a mistake about the price of the apartment it is now more than it was listed for are you still interested”? I thought to myself that’s crazy I have never heard of anyone doing this. They advertise for one price and then randomly after you show interest and they are in the middle of looking at the 12+ documents just change it because they want to? Naturally I told the broker that is very poor business and I was not interested anymore. I also stated I wanted a refund on the fee because this was not right, just on principal. He said they would get back to me. Next day I received a phone call saying that if I got approved they will give it to me for the original price. Despite my instincts I said ok. However, at this moment I knew they just didn’t want to give back the fee, and I knew at this moment there was no chance of me getting this apartment. They were just making it seem like they were still deciding. After this the broker stopped being so pushy about the apartment and I barely heard from him. In fact he even acknowledged that he called less when he started off his texts with I’m sorry its been so long …..Maybe he was talking with all the other people he told me numerous times about for the apartment. Well of course two weeks later the broker sends me a voice text very brief letting me know I didn’t get the apartment. This was two days after I saw the apartment relisted. He didn’t even have the decency to call. At this point sadly I was so turned off anyway. I had to remind myself I still didn’t know if I was going to move anyway. I am so thankful management didn’t accept me. It would have been a huge mistake. This was what I considered a glimpse of what it could have been. As I look back at it, the broker had a very strange relationship with this building. He would tell me he had a partnership with them which he made it seem like he owned part of the building which was a little hard to believe. The building also didn’t seem to work with any other realtor, which was a bit odd. The whole time it was just a very weird situation that I couldn’t put my finger on. However, that being said the pool which was drained when I saw the apartment I found out was like that for months. Nothing was said about that either. NO THANK YOU. I heard the apartments were robbed in broad daylight while the doorman was there!! NO WAY. Thank you again management best decision you ever made. I am not normally the one to brag and definitely not bitter about the apartment just disappointed in the way it all was handled. Craziest thing I own my own business. I could’ve give them 10 years in cash upfront if I wanted. They said they couldn’t prove my income…………."

"Beautiful building, love living here! Rent a small studio but with the balcony it feels bigger. Fridge is really small and has only 1 closet, though bathroom looks great and the rest of apartment looks very modern. Gives me hotel/resort vibes. Thank god not a single bug or roach issue like most apartments in Brooklyn. Anything that needs to get fixed, super is quick to get everything done, I always see him working with his wife from morning till night doing something in the building. I read the other reviews and I can see what they mean. He is friendly in nature but I noticed when he is rushing etc it can seem dismissive but I think he is just trying to get his job done, he never goes out of his way to be rude and I see he is always trying to help the other tenants. Also people need to note there is a cultural difference with Soviet Union (Ukrainian, Russian, etc) people and Americans, they are straight forward and don’t act “nice fake” 24/7, they always try to get to the point. It is sad he has to clean all the dog poop that gets left by owners on the roof by accident or on purpose. And Iam one of those people who didn’t notice my dog went and he did point it out to me but I didn’t take offense. Management, Moti, is pretty helpful. Accommodating anything needed, answers questions, pleasant to talk to. I took a star off as Im pretty disappointed about the pool being closed down for 4 months now. It was a major reason for moving in and same for many others. They did give around 1-2 week notice before closing but it was expected to be closed 1 month and it doesn’t take long to fix a pool issue which I didn’t see any problems with. I’m hoping it opens up soon , as stated, as the Sauna was my go to place to unwind after work and easy way to improve health with the lymphatic drainage and circulation it brings. Overall it’s the best modern building to move into in that location."
