Bondale Apartments 7603 Bondale Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23505

"I've always loved living at Bondale. It's extremely convenient to everything. Your in walking distance to Rite Aid, Walgreen's, Harris Teeter, Advance Auto, Dollar Tree, Soaps n Suds, and so many more other places. It's a pretty safe and quite neighborhood. I've seen the changes in people through out the years. The dynamic has change aaaaa loooooot through out the years.... The price for the apartment is pretty reasonable for everything that comes with it. But there were always a couple of concerns I had. There is dog poop everywhere. People in the neighborhood do not know what a doggie bag is.... The apartment complex probably needs to put up doggie bag stations. So residents know to pick up their dog poop. Or even those outsiders who walk their dogs in the neighborhood. Cause you'll be stepping on poop if your just walking in the grass to run and throw your trash in the dumpster in the back. Even if your just going for a quick run/ jog outside you might step on dog poop on the side walk. Then you have dogs running around like their in a wildlife preserve. So you have to be careful you don't get bite from a dog. I think there is a dog leash policy in Norfolk. But no one likes to follow rules. Then don't let me get started on the cleaning department for the building. They do NOT clean inside the buildings. So sometimes it was quite annoying to come to my building/home. And the entrance way to my apartment looks like I live in a garbage bin since it has not been cleaned in monnnthsss.... Inside the building was never mopped, sweep, dusted or anything. Everyone in the office has always been super pleasant and helpful. When I had certain problems with appliances breaking down in the apartment. They have always tried their best to fix it. But other than those little things....This is a great starter apartment. And if you want to just save on gas this is the best place to live. Since your in walking distance to basically everything."

"Bondale apartments are the worst apartments in norfolk va. Upon move in, roaches were everywhere. Roaches were in living room, bathroom bathtub, across the toilet, kitchen, they were crawling from floor downstairs. Several unknown men coming and going into apartment building all times of the day. The manager Jennifer is shady. She came from an apartment complex that people rent went missing seems she’s still pulling that scam. Make sure you keep all receipts when you pay rent there. It takes hours for something to be fixed. Also watch the maintenance men they steal. Random people just walk into apartment buildings. Drucker Falk are slumlords Don’t rent from any Drucker falk owned property!!!!!!!"

"I’ve lived in a 1-bedroom apartment at Bondale for over three years now, and I truly love it here. The office staff have always been kind and willing to work with me (especially concerning the COVID-19 financial instability I briefly went through). I couldn’t speak more highly of the manager, Theresa. She has been the best landlord/complex manager I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from, bar none. Maintenance is also fantastic, they always come in a timely manner. The apartments themselves are sturdy and the walls are thick enough to where I can barely hear any commotion from my neighbors. I’ve also had very few, if any, notable issues with appliances in the three years I’ve been here. Location is the epitome of convenience in Norfolk. Right between 2 entrance ramps to I-64 & 1 ramp to I-564. Shopping at wards corner, grocery store and multiple restaurants, not to mention a 5-minute drive to the Naval base. I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex if you’re looking for a decent sized apartment at a great price. Perfect for couples and military personnel (especially because they have a wide variety of leasing options). 10/10. Would recommend."
