"Disrespectful staff. Construction drilling and hammering at 8 o'clock in the morning. Smell of weed in the rooms and elevator even though they make you sign a form saying no smoking or pets in the room. If I could give a less than zero star rating about this place I would."

"Front desk person speaks poor English. Before I booked I was promised a late checkout of 12pm (checkout is 11). I booked and called to confirm later for my late checkout. He said no late checkout. This was due to an obvious language barrier. Now I get to sit in Norfolk airport for another hour to wait to pick up family. Apart from this half the building is literally falling apart. There is a sign at the front office about the department of buildings designating the place as uninhabitable. That really put me off but this place was on Priceline. Just avoid this place. There are a hundred better places right down the road. The guy doesn't even answer the phone with any greetings, he just says "yeah?""

"Terrible hotel for staying. I booked it through Booking without seeing the hotel. I booked none-smoking room with breakfast included. Staff gave me a room which was a smoking room smelling like smoke cabin and they said they don't serve breakfast. I didn't get what I paid for at this nasty place. Room was absolute dirt, check the pictures I took. Sheets full of dirt, gathers are broken or missing. Staff was rude and not helpful, they didn't let me cancel my reservation and force me to stay in that nasty room."

"Worst hotel EVER. After driving straight for 25 hours from Texas to pull up to a building that is half gone. When I walked in was greeted with a “what’s up?” The guy acted like he didn’t have a room for me and when I said I had 3 kids he said 4! The lady showed him it was on my reservation so it should not be a surprise. So unprofessional. Was told I had 15 min to decide if I wanted to stay room was on top floor - no working elevator. Got to stairwell and it smelled like a urinal and there was feces on the wall. Didn’t even make it to the room before deciding me and my 3 children would NOT be staying. We went down and said we didn’t want to stay and magically they had a room on the first floor for us. I told them politely no we don’t want to stay here. It was honestly the scariest motel ever. Took 4 days but I did get a refund."

"This place is just all around awful. Do not stay here. I felt unsafe and disgusted for the entire stay. It gave me a severe panic attack on the first night. The entire back half of the building is condemned. There also appeared to be a gunshot hole in one of the windows back there, which makes sense with the crime record this place has. Someone was shot here and they later died. There is a piece of paper at the office that says the hotel is unsafe for people to stay in. In just our room there was urine stains, burn holes, and makeup smears on the bedding. What looked to be fecal matter stains on the towels. And the room smelled very strongly of cigarettes despite it being a non smoking room. The safety lock was also busted. The toilet was used one time and afterwards it would not flush and it made this weird sound for the remainder of our stay. Since the building is half condemned, the amenities that were listed when booking aren't even available. The staircase smells like wet dog and mildew. The building is constantly dripping disgusting water down on you. The staff was kind of rude. And honestly I don't even trust their room service. Just stay away from this dump."
