The management guys are amazing and they really know what they are doing.They are quick to fix any complaints we have.The leasing office staff are super sweet and helpful with everything. "I have worked for Harbor group management company for two years. They don’t pay their bills and we could never get supplies not to mention the apartment complex I worked at is full of mold everywhere I lived where I worked and my wife and kids have been sick the entire time. I would never rent an apartment at any of their complexes. Trust all the reviews they are truthful"

"I moved from a harbor group management property over a month ago and have yet to receive my security deposit back. I’ve called their “corporate” office copious amounts of times, I’ve left voicemails, and have yet to receive a response. I called the apartment complex I lived at to see if they could remedy this issue and find out where my deposit is, and they tell me there is nothing they can do. I’m not sure if harbor management is doing so poorly that they need to keep peoples money, but I highly recommend that you don’t do business with these people. There is literally no way to get into contact with anyone. It’s pretty outlandish, and outrageous. The only option I have now is to take legal action. Save yourself the headache!"

"Lived in an apartment for 3 years. Company was bought by Harbor Group towards the end of my last least with the complex. Previous ownership was decent, harbor group is a disgrace to management companies everywhere. More than once I was sent bills that had nothing to do with me, and had to be disputed above the incompetent people working in the office. Never once was I even a day late on rent here. Communication from the people in the office was laughable, never followed up on issues, never showed a sense of urgency and never answered the phone. Things got BAD when I told them I was moving out. They immediately started sending me predatory letters spelling out how costly it is to move and how its best i just stay there otherwise i would be paying way more out of pocket to move. Once i told them that i was absolutely leaving and not signing another lease, is when things got bad. The office manager refused to send leasing history to my new apartment, refused to speak to them on the phone, and refused to even respond to an email. They then decided to do an inspection of our apartment immediately. The maintenance men came, and I made sure I was home during the inspection. Walked through the apartment with them and confirmed there were no damages. Fast-forward to 6 months later and I'm being contacted by debt collectors advising I owe nearly $2000 in damage fees. Never once was i contacted by the apt complex or anyone from harbor group. It was sent directly to collections with no warning. Harbor group manages a wide array of slums across the US. Seriously look at all of their properties. If you can afford it, look elsewhere or it will be a headache on your way in AND on your way out. I truly have never had a worse renting experience."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. The management company at Harbor group management is complete trash. They never solve any issues or answer any phone calls or get back in touch with you. I live at Meadow view in college park , Ga and it has been a complete nightmare since I moved in . I have been trying to contact Scarlet the regional manager and I never get a response back. Since March, I have put in numerous work orders and visited your office many times to express my concerns and the issues that I have been experiencing. First, there were termites activity eating through my wood and for that reason alone, I should have been switched from this apartment. Since Ms.Denise was in staff there has absolutely no help from the harbor group staff and this has just been tampered with as a not so serious concern. I have a 1 year old and currently expecting, so this is very serious to me. Next , there has been an infestation of ants . Not the ants that eat food and trash , the ants that eat termites & other bugs. Although they balmed the wall & closed the holes, the termites are still there suffocated in the wall which means the ants are still there still trying to eat them. Since March, the ants have been periodically coming through the walls and infesting other things and places in my home such as my clothes, all through my closets , my shoes, my purses, my daughters toys, my bed, & some how, they have even made there way to infest my car by an item brought out from the house that was taken in the car. In addition, there is ant pile dust and lining that is starting to line around the crevices of my carpet and baseboards , this is completely uncomfortable and unacceptable knowing that I have to look out for these type of things with having a toddler walking around. All in all this has been a complete nuisance, & when I went to address this concern I was asked , “ I mean, Is your house dirty Ms. Jones? “ .  & “Do you have ant spray?” That was completely triggering and upsetting know that I have been cleaning up ant infestations at least 4/5 times out of 1week.
