"When my wife and I moved from out of state, we had to do everything remotely. Jessica couldn't have been more helpful in making the process as smooth as possible. Additionally, once we moved in, Jessica and Jennifer made us feel like we were part of the family. Simply put, they're the best and I wish there were 100 more of them in the world!"
"I lived here for 3 years and I really enjoyed my time here. Brianna and Jennifer were really nice and helpful. Best move out experience at the end of my lease. My fridge broke down once and the leasing office replaced the fridge with a band new one in a week. Technicians were always helpful and fix issues in a timely manner."
"The apartment, maintenance, and management teams were all high quality. The downside of this apartment is the owners. They are so cheap and will try to wring you for every dollar in crazy fees. I was charged for a large rental insurance expiration fee upon move out even though my rental insurance never expired. They also charge all their renters a $100 carpet cleaning fee no matter how spotless the carpet is. I would try to avoid the ownership group if possible, but if you cannot assume your security deposit is gone upon signing the lease."
"I have lived at The Rockefeller for a year now and just renewed my lease. I have nothing but nice things to say about the property, the location, the community, the tenants, the staff, the amenities and the sense of well-being that I have here. The leasing office and the maintenance team are always genuine and very helpful. I have a very demanding job and my biggest reward is coming home at the end of the day to unwind. If I don’t feel like cooking, I’m walking distance to dozens of awesome restaurants and cafes. This building is so grand and has a lot of awesome history and character to it. The Rockefeller (originally the Naval YMCA) is a true Norfolk legend. I brag to everyone about my experience here. Thank you!"
"Apartment is nice. However, the management staff is extremely poor. There was constant miscommunication to us during our stay there and they rarely follow up with any concerns. The staff members can never give you a clear timeline and misdirect you on payments, scheduling, and pickups. It took over 6 weeks to get a garage door pass and even longer to get an entrance key to the building. Additionally, your estimated time for maintenance repairs is about 11 months. I would recommend everyone stay far and away from this apartment complex."
