"It is what you make it. It's the 2nd time we have lived in Liberty Military, but is the worst. The main office staff are a revolving door; they don't know the rules and give inaccurate info depending on who/when you ask. Exterior: They did a facelift of the outside; construction resulted in many ruined tires; 6' privacy fences installed, but housing will still peak in the cracks to look at your backyard and tell you when to mow your lawn or pick up your kids' toys. So much for privacy. Houses are to look uniform-they want it to look like no one lives there. Interior: Looks like a 5yo painted it. Paint drops on floor. They will replace broken appliances with "new ones" refurbished from the military housing down the road. The vertical blinds are purposely installed outside the window frame (they don't keep individual measurements for each house-one oversized frame fits all). Results in blinds breaking or causing physical harm from sharp corners. Maintenance gets a bad rap but they are great!"
"Summer was outstanding! Everyone was helpful and very fast! I was in housing in no time. The neighborhood hood seems nice and my kids are so excited to have their own rooms!"
"2023: Everyone is raving about these 'upgrades' to the homes, when in fact its just NORMAL upkeep of the homes that they let wither away. 8yr roofs and probably 10yr old siding, just now being repaired/replaced. But the 'guts' of the homes are still the same. Same pest infested, mold/mildew ridden, poorly build/configured homes that the A/C cannot properly cool because of the design of the interior (their words not mine), and small backyards are now just hidden from others views with 6foot plastic. REGULAR power and water outages! Not to mention the irregular Cox internet connectivity, if you work from home BEWARE! They have gone through management personnel like crazy, none of them can meet the community's needs and address problems. Look into PPV or rate specific community's working with government rates. The amount of police activity is HIGH due to shootings, theft from cars including arresting neighbor's in the middle of the street. It is not worth the hassle nor the drama. UPDATE:2022 Ben Moreell Housing What an end to 2022. Liberty Military Housing Failure! Failed to provide adequate support and assistance for renters during winter, known freeze warning provided last minute renters "flag warnings" to conceal and deflect danger lurking in our own homes. Maintenance or headquarters failed to provide annual inspection of sprinkler system resulting in numerous homes/garages with burst pipes. Resulting in displaced families on days leading up to AND ON Christmas. Inadequate emergency support and LMH service number left "busy signal" and on hold for hours with no follow up. Winterizing was left up to the renters but could not be successful on a closed sprinkler system. Not worth the BAH for the area. House is falling apart and LMH would rather bandaid problems. And bill the renter instead of update and acknowledge they have paper flooring and poor customer service. Arguing with residence about not mowed lawns in December, too many holiday decorations, or a lawn chair left in the backyard. When they can't keep siding on the houses, shingles on the roof, or paint. Moved in 2021:Not sure how else to rate this. When everything sucks (parking, trash services, maintenance requests, high crime rate and instead of fixing anything they give out hit lists for residents to charge them for non-sense)and I would not recommend to anyone. I wouldn't offer more than one star. EVERYTHING could be improved. From customer service to home upkeep and move-in/move-out process. :("
"The building is very clean, the rooms where our class was held was very well put together, the bathrooms are nice and the playground is very big and gives kids lots of fun things to do."
"I love how liberty military housing is doing a renovation project to give us a better quality housing experience. It shows how much you care and we appreciate it. Also on how maintenance takes care of all our housing issues. It's well appreciated they work very hard and deserve all the benefits possible. And to security who make sure we are as safe as possible we're very grateful to have that extra sense of safety in our neighborhood. Thank you to the landscapers who make our grass in our neighborhood look nice and clean. And thank you to the housing office for being on top of everything and being as involved in things as you are. Everyone is very much appreciated."
