"Beyond having everything super close by living right in the center (we are really missing that experience! How many fantastic restaurants to discover at walking distance!), to me the best thing of having lived in Monticello Station Apartments was the professionalism of all the staff. The gym is pretty good as well, I regret not having used it very much. I would definitely repeat!"

"Roaches, roaches, and roaches, oh my! I encountered at least a dozen cockroaches during my time living at Monticello Station Apartments. I would notify the office, they would fumigate, but the roaches kept coming back because they were not addressing the root of the issue. Those roaches were massive in size. Also, I find it comical that I had to pay $5 a month to prevent bugs... I didn't realize that Monticello Station would provide me free pets. Other perks of living here include: numerous downtown shootings, homeless people waking you up at 3 am yelling outside your window, extremely thin walls, and the door key fob not working at the entrance by Bank St. and East Freemason St. for months after notifying the office. My advice, live anywhere else."

"When I decided to move to Norfolk for school, I made exactly one trip to the area and spent two days here looking for a place to live. Monticello Station was one of the places I looked at. I right away had a great impression. It is truly an oasis in the middle of a bustling city. When I had gone back home and was still trying to make a decision about where to live, Carolyn was kind enough to have a FaceTime apartment tour with me so I could see the apartment that was available. The entire process of choosing Monticello Station and then moving in here was incredibly smooth. The office staff and the director of maintenance are accommodating, friendly, and work very hard. I would highly recommend living here. It went from becoming an apartment to being my home, and I'm grateful I made the right choice!"

"Most dedicated staff to customer service and taking care of the property that I have ever experienced. In the 20 months I have lived here, all the interior hallways have been painted. New security cameras and other features have been installed and/or updated. At present all the hallway lights are being updated to LED, and the tarnished lense covers replaced! This complex isn't 7 years old yet and feels brand new! Management and maintenance that treat it's rentors and the building the way I want my home. If you want to live downtown, I highly recommend this residence. Attached City parking garage and walking distance to everywhere.
