"Between the shootings and the drug dealers, it's noisy. One neighbor moved early because of a peeping Tom. Cars have been shot in the parking lots. There are gangs too. Hope you don't mind cockroaches and bad plumbing. Doors without peepholes, dishwashers don't work. Someone was shot in front of my building. This place is trash."

I WAS SET TO MOVE IN MAY 1ST 2013 AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW NOT TO PACK ALL MY THINGS AND GO OVER BECAUSE I NEVER ONCE SINCE GIVING THEM MY APPLICATION FEE CONDITIONAL FEE & DEPOSIT MONEY HEARD BACK FROM THEM.... SO I WENT UP THERE ALL PACKED ON MY MOVE-IN DATE FOR THEM TO TELL ME "OH WELL YOUR APARTMENT ISN'T READY YET".... PLUS THEY OUT OF THE $237.00 I GAVE THEM ONLY GAVE ME BACK $100.00 THOUGH I HELD UP MY END OF THE CONTRACT AND THEY DID NOT SAYING THE REST IS NON-REFUNDABLE (BUT THEY DIDN'T HOLD UP THEIR END) BUT DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE CAUSE THEY DON'T CARE THEY'RE IN IT FOR THE MONEY THAT'S IT.... DON'T BELIEVE ME CALL "Better Business Bureau".... they are not listed with them but if you continue to listen there is a recording telling you what newport news riverwalk apartments are really about...."

"I've been living here for about a yeae now and that time I've had epic battles with legions of roaches. Put up with overly loud neighbors and quick bouts with bed bugs and mice. Despite all that its not that bad a place to hang your hat. They got rid of the bed bugs and I have not seen a mouse in a while. Its also in a pretty good spot not that far form the library and other various shops."
