"Would not recommend!!! Room was filthy upon arrival. TV was dusty and dirty. Furniture was old and damaged. The outlets to plug in your phone chargers were disgustingly dirty. The shower had dirt in the bottom of it and there was hair all over the room. The lights over the desk area did not work. The lamp in the room was also filthy. I would stay away from this hotel, it’s very dirty!!"
"Very nice property with mostly quiet rooms (as long as they don't face Jefferson Avenue). While there were a couple of exceptions, during my four-night business stay here, I found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and efficient. I will surely return to this property."
"I was in Virginia for work, and my employer reserved a room her for me. I was there for a week and I loved it. The room was like a small apartment. I had a small kitchen with two burner stove tops, microwaves, refrigerators, and all you would need to cook. A living room, small hall to get to bedroom and separate bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. For some crazy reason, my body woke me up every day at 4:30 am. I would go to the lobby and get coffee because I never made it to the store to get my coffee creamer. Breakfast was very good and there were so many options. The staff was very, very nice. I hope I am getting her name right, Laquetta ( please forgive me if I am wrong) was so sweet! I had a rental cat but really don't like driving at night, so I took the hotel shuttle twice. My shuttle drivers were so sweet. I can not remember their names. The woman who prepared the breakfast for everyone made sure coffee was fresh at that early morning hour. If I ever return to Virginia, I will definitely be staying here again. Almost forgot, the location was fantastic! It was close to so many dining options from sit-down restraunts to fast food. There was shopping within a mile as well."
"I travel a lot and usually prefer Hampton Inns, but this one was a letdown. The room smelled like vinegar when I walked in and everything felt damp even though it wasn’t humid outside. The bathtub had a weird stain in it and there was a dirty handprint on the bathroom door- which also needed to be slammed (or pushed really hard) to close all the way. The toilet paper holder was also broken and our toilet didn’t flush properly. We found a large cockroach in the room the second night we were there. My friend who stayed with us said that the sheets made him itchy, and my allergies were also horrendous in the room but totally fine once I left. The beds were not comfortable at all and felt like they were falling apart. Staff was friendly and the common area for breakfast is nice, but that’s about as good as it gets. Breakfast was stale (my friend described the sausage patty as tasting like rubber) but the mini waffle iron was a nice surprise."
"Drove 5 hours and came straight to this hotel my mother made reservations for us and I was excited to see how it was. I think the rooms were pretty spacious and everything we needed. I can say I only have to complaints and they are minor. The front desk staff could be more welcoming and helpful. I felt like every time we had to ask them for something it was an inconvenience and there should be towels at the pool instead of asking the front desk every time. The housekeeping staff was really nice and helpful, they made the visit for us. I think breakfast for the two mornings we went was really good. They had a nice variety of things. Cereal, oatmeal, bagels, waffles ( different favors each day with toppings), omelette, bacon, sausage and potatoes. It was a very small space and they made it work well. I would stay again."
