"It's a bit dark and dreary on the inside and outside, what with the hotel wayyyy back at the end of a sprawling parking lot, and the inside isn't so bright either. But the rooms are pretty quiet, albeit cramped, and most of the employees are fairly friendly and welcoming. So it's an average mediocre place, but honestly, for this area of Newport News, it's not bad, and I'd probably go back."

"Room was comfortable. Low water pressure in the sink. Could use more lighting around the bathroom mirror. Staff could have been a little more friendly. Didn't get a lot of pics of the room. I will when I return there"

"The location is okay if you're just staying for a night or two -- good if you're visiting CNU or something. We loved our King room! The ceilings are really high and there is a nice big chair with an ottoman -- gives the room a very regal feel! Good shower, bed was good -- we were there on a Sat night and there is usually a bar available in the lobby that was not open for business. That was a little disappointing, but otherwise -- we would definitely stay there again."

"Friendly staff that were super helpful and knowledgeable. The room wasn’t gross, it was just kind of worn down and slightly dirty in the details. Not a deal breaker, and a great deal just not the most modern. Parking was safe, and the amenities were nice."

"Everything was clean, people were super nice, and good location. Only con are the beds. They're hard and could use an replacement. Apologies for not knowing her name, but the woman who worked the bar and she also worked for breakfast was bery nice, service was great and quick. Also the cook from Saturday night was thoughtful. Kitchen was supposed to close but he still allowed big orders which I thought was nice to do. There was a big group of people enjoying themselves so he made sure all orders were done before he left."
