"I typically don't write many reviews but this place was very nice. I didn't give it 5 stars because maintenance workers left my place somewhat of a mess when they would fix some issues in my apartment. Also, the hardwood floors creak a lot and had thin walls."
"I remember my stay there ( which was very pleasant ). Hardwood floors and a washer/dryer in my unit. Steps away from Amtrak. I would return in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, they don't accept section 8."
"Parking SUCKS. Disabled vehicles are allowed to take up parking spaces. Major appliances had to be replaced within 3 months of moving in. Both the refrigerator and microwave had to go, and the washer/dryer has also been "repaired" All the paint fell off the kitchen ceiling within the 1st month of moving in and it wasnt fixed until almost 3 weeks later due to holidays and a snow storm (wasn't considered a priority). Neighbors will occasionally play loud music all times of the night. Lots of noise from the shipyard all day and night. The only positive thing i could think to say is the deposit is cheap, the pet policy is affordable, and the view of the river is nice"
"I have pleasantly enjoyed my apartment at Huntington On the James. They have always been very timely with any of my maintenance needs and they are very affordable. The staff is very helpful and I have the most beautiful view in Newport News."
