RAMZ Apartments on Broad 933 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220

"Enduring the past week and a half in this residence has been nothing short of exasperating. The malfunctioning elevator, persisting since the return from winter break, has forced residents to lug their belongings upstairs. It doesn’t give y’all are trying to fix it right away. I’m just really confused on why it’s a long time to get “One” elevator fixed but at 1200 y’all are quick to fix an elevator when there are like 7 elevators in that building. Maintenance requests, such as acquiring an additional table, have been a source of frustration as they are either ignored or falsely marked as complete without any resolution. The parking situation adds another layer of inconvenience, with a friend's car being towed due to misinformation about parking eligibility. Also, finding out management lied and told us to park at 1200 which i found unfair because we had to walk all the way back over to ramz after parking the car. Not to mention you don’t get no key so you can’t get in to 1200 to get your car. The constant emergence of unexpected fees and a lack of transparent communication exacerbate the dissatisfaction. Only 1200 residents receive crucial information, leaving others in the dark. Essential amenities like room and living room lights are conspicuously absent, and the perplexing charge for laundry services raises eyebrows, especially given the comparable prices of other residences. Being the only building that has to pay laundry is crazy we mind as well could of did vcu housing. Residents share a collective sentiment of regret, labeling it as the worst living experience they've encountered. Management's behavior further tarnishes the living experience, as evidenced by a reported incident of the general manager yelling at a resident during a phone call. The overall living conditions, compounded by these issues, make this residence highly undesirable, especially for college students eagerly awaiting the end of their leases."

"Never been so happy my lease is done worse experience ever. Living in dorms is much better. Everything is broken. I get my mail stolen. Can’t sleep without hearing noises or smelling marijuana or cigs everywhere. Dont rent with them"

"I do not recommend this place elevator rarely work, key fobs malfunction and washer dryer only only works on one level. there is constant music blasting into the late of night. If you live here expect random unwarranted charges to randomly pop up. In my case the charge was a system "error" that they said they would resolve. It was never resolved and I was forced to pay. staff is absolutely wonderful except for management."

"BY FAR THE WORST APARTMENTS AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EVER!!! I lived at Ramz apts for 2 years… The washers and dryer’s constantly never work, you have to pay for laundry, which doesn’t make sense to me.. when I was having problems with rent, and I communicated… management never seem to want to make a negotiation with me whatsoever and it’s ridiculous…. My fridge in my apartment had a weird aroma since the day that I moved in maintenance had came in multiple times to try to find the problem rather than switching out the fridge, the parking is horrible. They do not give visitor parking passes to anyone that lives here… there’s mold growing on my bathroom wall, I’ve had a leaks in my apartment multiple times… and the elevator is always broken… very glad to be moving out of here"

"I love living here!! The staff and maintenance are so nice and always on time/ around when I need something. I receive a lot of packages in the mail and I've never had a problem with someone helping me its always a breeze! Also its always very clean in the building and maintenance responds very quickly to any issue I've had. Perfect little spot right on West Broad and I have a great view of the city from my room! Couldn't be happier with my first home away from home highly recommend!"
