Omni Richmond Hotel,

"We arrived shortly after check-in time around 3:30pm and the valet parking area was highly congested with not much movement causing the traffic to back into the street. I don't normally use valet parking but, when I asked if we could park the car ourselves, I was told that I would have to squeeze thru the narrow opening between cars parked on both sides of the entrance and that there would be a fee each time we needed to exit the hotel. I agreed to the valet parking strictly out of frustration as I felt like I had little choice. The original room we were in was quite noisy as you could hear the elevators going up and down; however, they did allow us to change rooms and offered to send the bellhop with a new room key and to help us move our luggage, so I do acknowledge the effort to rectify the situation. The new room was better, but we found the bed to be hard and uncomfortable which did not provide a restful night of sleep preceding an early morning medical procedure at VCU the following day. When we left to check out early the next morning, we were told there was no valet onsite but the friendly lady at the front desk did her best to assist us in retrieving our keys and getting us out of the parking garage. I did later receive a text from the valet service that explained they had a no-call/no-show and they comped the cost of the valet fee, so I do wish to also acknowledge my appreciation of the valet service to rectify our inconvenience. Overall I was pleased with the customer service of both the Omni and the valet service, but it's unfortunate that there was even a need for them to step in to begin with."

"My husband and I stayed at the Omni for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary! Alycia the loyalty ambassador reached out to me for any special request or accommodations. I mentioned it was our anniversary and all we wanted was a room with a view. Well, we got to the room and just felt joy to see "Happy Anniversary" balloons on the bed and the bath tub! Chocolate covered strawberries and some other nice treats. The staff at the Omni was so kind to do that. They made our stay special! The view of the city was beautiful! The room was beautiful, the bed was comfy! We'll definitely be back! Thank you, to the Omni staff!"

"This picture is a morning shot but we were on the 15th floor corner room. Opened the curtains to the sunrise over the horizon, reflected on the glass tower next door. Truly comfortable rooms. Nice for touring downtown. Walk to the capital in 2 minutes. The breakfast was scrumptious!"

"Great location. Convenient to downtown. Rooms are nicely furnished and clean. Safe and small refrigerator in rooms. Wifi is good. Gym has decent selection of machines and free weights. Staff was responsive although not overly friendly. Only issue was a room down the hall playing loud music, but after notified hotel staff, music stopped sometime after."

"My sons and I stayed at the Omni Richmond Hotel for Nightmare Weekend at the conference center for the weekend and it was wonderful. The staff was nice and able to answer any questions I had. Checking in and out was easy. It was a great location for what we had planned for the weekend. Our room was clean and suited our needs. We enjoyed our stay here."
