"I put in request for service last week same day start moving in .It was raining and water was coming inside above window needed corking that was on the 16th also needed stripping on front door never came to fix that either as well as dishwasher need to be fix used a day or so later bottom fell and it’s still not fixed mentioned about dryer socket too.This is what happened I bought stripping myself and fixed it.The corking and covered the area myself had to go spend $30 on another cord and shouldn’t have had to for dyer and yet they /yall said it’s done it is by me not maintenance.I just left t an apartment with problems and couldn’t get service like I needed to move into another with different maintenance ppl and newer management and things are no better. The guy did something on outside never came inside apartment ,so whoever it was lied..However Ray did call me about the key to access the apartment I left not understanding why when I turned the keys in"

"I have been here 4 years you increase rent yet the service is left to par or underwelming. I get a call from the office manager saying they will take care of as many work order as they could last Friday to come home an have my dishwasher worker closed and still not fix. I go into the office today and was told they will put it in again. But honestly at this point I can care less waited 3 months to get a new dishwasher to have the cheap counter tops not be able to hold the screws so they just keep coming undone and dishwasher insert falls out. Waited over a year for working ac to have it replaced but took a year. To have rent go up 220 dollars yet it’s been over a year that I have complained that their is possible mold in the guest bathroom and possible laundry room to still not have it inspected. Then to have my shower in master replaced and re-plastered a year in this December it to still not have the ceiling repainted or the hole in guest bathroom patched from when they drilled a hole and found a bunch a mold in master. This place is like the projects slow to do anything to make the residence happy or to fix the underlying issue of this building. But yet you have no problem collecting rent and threaten people to be evicted if they are late. I currently have no food in my house to feed my 4 children. But was told if I didn’t pay rent by the 10 I would have the eviction process started. So instead of paying maybe 1550 for rent and water because you wanted to tack on another $150 for being 5 days late now I can’t feed my kids. An you call your self a business yet I just call it heartless and not willing to help people because you want to recover your losses from buying this place from shady people and now the residence are paying the price."

"So my apartment is ok I recently moved here about 2 months ago. However there is a major trash problem in my complex corridor. Kids are constantly throwing FOOD trash and TOYS and even hair in the breezeway and in the parking lot. It’s so ridiculous to wake up EVERY morning to go outside my door and see this nasty trifling mess. I have complained several times to the office. I even asked if they could do something or put up cameras to stop this trifling nasty behavior. Nobody wants to wake up and step out the door to this filth. It’s disgusting. Office said they have staff to clean up during the day and I get that but sheesh wth. It’s getting way past ridiculous. I’m tired and frustrated. I even paid a kid to clean up my area. Smh. And should not have had to do that. I pay full rent and I should not have to deal with this trifling nonsense. And it seems like my building is the worst in the complex. I don’t know if this is the hangout spot or what the deal is over here but something needs to be done. …tired and frustrated and sick and tired of cleaning up other peoples kids nasty trash."

"Stay away. Not worth market rate rent. The hood. No services. Office staff turns over quickly. Office staff barely answers the phone and they’re not open Saturday. Work orders not done in timely manner. Not enough maintenance men for the large complex that wants market rate rent"

"Living at these apartments has taught me A LOT! Management doesn’t really care about your concerns, maintenance comes when they want to repair things, the grounds are FILTY(EVERYDAY), pot holes around the area, unruly kids, packages getting stolen right off of the doorstep. If you like headaches, unruly residents and a Leasing Office Team that doesn’t care, then the Overlook at Brook Run IS the place for you. Please keep in mind that IF your in communication w/them about any issues paying your rent on time, due to a layoff, when you pay them IN FULL FOR BOTH MONTHS MISSED by the 12th of the next month, they’ll put an eviction on your credit, that’s how they keep you locked in here, unable to get qualified for another property due to this mess. A LOT of people have left here since we moved in here December 2017."
