"Not a bad place for the price. I’ve lived here for 6 months now and overall am happy with this apartment. I’ve never once seen a cockroach in my unit, which in DC is a blessing! ( maybe a few in the stairwells ) laundry room gets the job done. Maintenance team is very very nice and respond immediately to any issues, even small ones. Management is amazing as well, they answer the phone whenever you might call. The community is nice and I don’t ever really smell smoking in nearby units. I definitely would recommend this apartment to the next person. Rent was fair, location is great, and I’m happy with the apartment. Warm air works when it’s cold, and the AC/cold air works when it’s hot and humid. Not much to complain about here."

"They replaced the laundry machines with newer ones when the older ones were working fine, then increased the price when it was already too expensive. They do not enforce the smoking rule which wouldn't be bad except the smell from an apartment on another floor was so horrendous, I honestly thought someone had died (the stairwell smelled like a dead body). I tried to get them to help with a wellness check, but the management didn't seem concerned. I wish we had a fresh coat of paint in the stairwell. It just looks so rough. Overall, it's okay. Maintenance is relatively quick depending on what you need."

"They stood me up for a viewing. We had one scheduled for 4:30 and i drove in rush hour traffic for over half an hour to get there and they never showed up. I called to them and no one answered. I reached out to my email contact and they did not respond. Terrible."

"I've been living in 2620 for the past year, and I'm very happy with the quick service and dedication Gelman Management and Karen Morales (the new property manager) provides. The rooms are virtually sound proof, as I've been here a year and have never heard my neighbors, and the furnishings are comfortable and properly serviced. The AC/heating is adjustable in each unit. This is a very conveniently located property right between AdMo and Columbia Heights, and it's at a very affordable rate. Parking is available and monitored with a camera, and there's laundry facilities on site that are never full. My favorite part is that Meridian Hill park is just a half a block away."
