"I stayed here about 2 weeks ago with my boyfriend. He was in DC for a conference, and we ended up here. The location wasn't bad, we where about a 10-15 min walk to some nearby restaurants. There was a little convenient store right around the corner that we visited once. It was okay. It had some homeless people outside of it in the evening. (the store, not the hotel) They always had staff on duty, and if there wasn't anything in the valet area, you had to have a key to get in. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the bed and pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but it didn't bother my boyfriend. We walked to the White House and National Mall area, probably about a 20 min walk for us. We did eat at the hotel restaurant once for breakfast and dinner. The service was good both times, and the food was bad either. Overall, it was a nice hotel to stay at and it was in a good location for us."
"A welcome change from my previous experience at a different brand a couple weeks ago. Rooms were clean, staff was attentive and cared, and the facilities were well maintained. I will be rethinking my loyalty to the other brand hotels that I have stayed at in the past."
"This facility was very overrated to me, the bathroom rainfall shower was nice but the room was not worth the price and the bathroom sink leaked water from the faucet when the hot water was on. I didn't feel welcome fully welcomed, I could notice one of the hotel workers watching me like I didn't belong there when I was exiting and entering the hotel. The customer service was also not as welcoming towards me as it was for a few others I observed while checking in. The lady in the Starbucks portion of the hotel was so sweet and down to earth, it was very refreshing. The gentlemen who assisted guests with valet parking were very friendly, helpful and kind. The parking prices are a bit extreme though."
"The service is perfect at this, but the hotel is quite old. Beware of any atrium facing room! Used a suite upgrade and got an atrium facing suite. Unfortunately the atrium has music starting at 6am going almost to midnight, if not later. We could definitely hear the sounds through the window of the bedroom. The living room itself is quiet, but unfortunately the bed is in the window facing the atrium! Beware of the music if you're sensitive and I would go for a high floor sans upgrade compared to more space. Breakfast is one of the options and you receive a coupon to be turned in at the buffet, full buffet options and the staff members are friendly, the service overall is fantastic at the hotel. The sofa we had in the room had an audible squeak when sitting on it though it was comfortable."
"I have stayed in DC a lot over the last 2 years and this hotels staff is amazing. Very attentive and goes above and beyond. Asia at the front desk checked me in with most of our traveling group and she was so sweet. Gave us all of the details and information about the hotel as well as breakfast, and when she saw us coming down from our rooms on different occasions, she always greeted us with a smile and asked how our trip was going and if there was anything that we needed. Anytime I need anything for my room. It was done in such a timely manner. Great staff"
