"First off, thanks to Shayla and Ed for being the best maintenance crew they could be. Now, I could go on and on about the roaches and other pests but I think I’ll talk about the blatant lies and overall condition of these apartments. The lies: The 3rd party contractor they use for extermination doesn’t show on Tuesdays as he should and he lies on his notes. He notes that he comes by, he notes that the pests are due to “poor housekeeping” in our home and he notes to have put down glue traps but of course they’re all lies. Don’t bother talking to leasing. There’s always someone new in there that’s no help because they don’t know anything. Which works to their advantage because they can play clueless and the problems will persist. The conditions: Please just look at the photos... They make it seem like there’s no proof of poor conditions so here it is. BIG, VISIBLE cracks in doors/walls that could let any critters in. Our screen on our bedroom window still isn’t fixed and that was when we moved in back in February 2023. Depending on the unit, your front door will flood due to crumbling doorways with cracks when it rains heavily. Some neighbors let their dogs out without leashes and don’t clean up after them. Our back sliding door does not open. Also, thank God to my cool neighbors that give me my packages/doordashes whenever they get delivered to the wrong door, which is OFTEN. I appreciate y'all. Bonus fun: my car and about 4 others were broken into the first 4 months living here. Please don’t put yourself through the chaos. Please don’t think that because you're reading this is ‘24, ‘25 or even 2030 that things are better. It’s the same. The damage here is irreversible. The complex needs to be torn down. To Aston: don’t come under this post with that “sorry you’re going thru this please come and talk to us and we’ll figure this out”. No. Spare me with the poor attempt at damage control. We been calling y’all and going to the leasing office for 8 months. Y’all don’t answer the phone and y’all throw your new associates to the wolves. ONLY LIVE HERE IF YOU CAN DEAL WITH THE ABOVE ISSUES OR WORSE. UPDATE: 12/20/23 The exterminator is coming out more consistently and the District manager came out to address our issues about the cracks in some of our walls. The cracks in the door was mostly sealed and the sliding door was replaced. They just sent out someone to seal the cracks in walls around the replaced screen door. So that’ good. Another heads up about this place tho, the parking lot is a danger zone and there ZERO cameras besides the one near the leasing office. I woke this morning to my car damaged by a hit and run. And of course, I have nothing to go off of because there’s no surveillance. All in all: if you’re desperate and can deal with ALL conditions/liabilities of this place, go right ahead. But if you can afford it, please just pay a little extra at a nicer place so you can have a piece of mind in and out of your home…"
"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! ITS A SCAM! If you want a real and honest review from a 20 something year old woman here it is. I was supposed to move in February but there were dead roaches all over the apartment. I let management know of this and gave them a month to solve the problem so we could finally move in March the roach infestation continued. Only received a $200 credit for this and still had to pay full rent for February. Roach situation was finally died down in May however other bugs found their way inside. Anytime it rains for a few hours expect to step outside into a pool of 4 inches of water. That is if the water doesn’t start to pour inside first from under the front door due to the flooding. Expect to see random charges added to your rent even after fully paying it. From a 24 year old black woman take my advice and look else where. The leasing office never answers the phone no matter if you call in the morning or afternoon. One week I called everyday every hour and still couldn’t get a hold of anybody even after leaving countless messages. I let management know we continued to see roaches they said they would have an exterminator come every week on Mondays I deliberately took off to make sure this was happening, half of the time it was not even though we were being told it was. People’s dogs poop all over the grass, the parking lot is very unsafe and our mail is given to the neighbors all the time. Would not recommend living here. UPDATE: I’ve gone up to the office numerous times between February and November. The exterminator that they have been sending hasn’t been following their protocols of setting out traps. He has also been making false notations of our living conditions saying it’s our “poor housekeeping” that is causing the roaches. Even though there are numerous reviews from October alone of people having issues with bugs. So when management came by to do a surprise inspection they noted there was no signs of housekeeping being a problem that would cause the bugs. They then proceeded to have the exterminator come and set traps for the roaches. They said if the problem persisted that we could move to another unit but only IF one was available. The “internet amenity” is a scam it’s just a way for them to double charge you for a service that isn’t that good. It’s now December management decided that the best option was to replace our sliding doors to keep bugs out in doing so they put numerous holes around it which we are now on 2 weeks of waiting to be fixed."

"If I could give a 0 I would!!! I have lived here for almost 5 years in December. I have had issues with my neighbors above me last September. Now this September there is an issue again. Where they have vandalized my cars and did other things as well. I had went to the office to let them know what was going on. I have police reports and video as they requested and still they haven’t done a thing. All they keep Saying is that they are waiting on regional. They are not taking this matter serious. I have asked for two spots in front of my apartment so I can park in view of my cameras and they told me they don’t do those but I can fill this form out which is for a handicap spot which does not apply to my situation. I don’t feel safe and neither does my daughter. The fact that it was a mother and her child and his friend that spray painted my daughter’s car. Which blows my mind that management isn’t doing anything about this. I have neighborhood kids banging on my door and running because of the juvenile delinquents that already are involved in this matter having other children following. I NEVER leave reviews but Aston ridge sent an email asking for my feed back well here it is. Your management sucks and the fact I can’t feel safe at my home is horrible !!!!! But I’m sure this review won’t matter either."
"Don’t move here! If you want to deal with extremely noisy neighbors, find ways to combat bugs, an understaffed office that doesn’t bother to answer the phone because they feel they’re just that understaffed, constant requests for the number to corporate and being ignored, MOVE HERE! I NEVER EVER LEAVE REVIEWS. I’m currently under my second lease that just began 2 months ago and I only renewed because my previous noisy neighbors moved out in the middle of the night and moved 2 men in, in place of them. Other than your normal walking, it was very peaceful once they moved in. This was the main reason I renewed, I figured I could deal with the rest of the issues I dealt with since moving in because it was peaceful. But I now have new neighbors, there are 4 adults, 1 young adult, a child and 3 dogs living above me in a 2br ,1 bath. You can only begin to imagine what I’m dealing with. I’m an excellent tenant, I have never been late with bills, not once and I’m neat and quiet and stay to myself. Voicing your concerns is pretty much worthless. I miss the previous management. I ate least felt like concerns mattered when Tanya was in office. I could keep going but I’m going to stop because I’m tired and I’m currently trying to get adjusted for bed and there’s running above my head as we speak. The only reason I’m leaving this review is because I received an email asking for me to rate my experience. This has been by far thee worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and I’ve only lived in 3 (2 in NY). Since I’ve lived on my own, i have always been blessed to have a pretty awesome rental history and dealt with wonderful complex’s where I had a great experience. Always paid my bills on time and stayed to myself and maintenance issues were addressed promptly. Before you ask why I haven’t moved, because it’s just too darn expensive to break my lease then, move into a new place. If I get to that point where I literally can’t take it, I will bite the bullet and break it though, it’s only money and I do have it and my peace of mind is more important. However, They will not get another renewal out of me."
