"I just also wanted to say that the office lady is very nice an professional an is very helpful....I appreciate her regardless of anything else...an she showed the apartment with love she just never I wasn't pleased but she was very nice an does a great job... nobody personally upset me its just the condition of the apartment that I was disappointed with and I just had to voice that my floors are peeling around my toilet along with other problems...im prayn for a turn around"

"My fiancé and I just moved from here and I have absolutely nothing negative to say. From the office, to the maintenance, to the neighbor kiddos, to the pool and basketball court everything was amazing. MeChell is so very patient, understanding and welcoming. Maintenance was always respectful and responded immediately. Pool and gym were always clean and very enjoyable. Neighborhood kiddos were super friendly and respectful. This was our first apartment together and I have no regrets. Apartment was very cozy and we had a beautiful view of the lake. Only reason we moved was because we moved out of state. If we were to stay in FL we wouldn’t have moved out of this complex. You can definitely see that MeChell is on top of everything and takes care of all of her tenants. Communication is beyond amazing and she even knows everyone and their cars which shows how she creates healthy relationships with everyone. This is the first neighborhood I’ve ever felt safe, relaxed and happy to reside in."

"This place, Arbor Lake is scamming people. They take your application fee and tell you that you are First on the list. They said they will have apartments for rent in December 2022 and January 2023. They never called us back and then they claimed they "lost" the application. My son called them several times to ask when the apartment would be ready and the office staff said they didn't know, and they would need to fill out another application because theirs was lost. I think they need to refund the application fee. They have been lying to people. Renters beware."

"I dropped a $35.00 money order off to Arbor Lake Apartment leasing office November 16th. Myself and my cousin were advised that at that time they didn’t have any available 3 bedroom units but if we completed an application and paid the application fee, they would contact us upon vacancy of an available unit. Which we’d then have to pay a holding fee. I spoke to Melissa in the leasing office prior to and upon arrival to dropping off the money order, whom was very pleasant and explained the process of when a unit is available and how it can happen at earlier or later date than December. My cousin was planning on relocating here To Chester, VA from NYC by end of December/January. She completed the application, hence the $35.00 application fee. However, we tried calling them several times after and no one answered or even contacted us to give an update on whether a unit was or would be available. Finally, we got to reach someone in the leasing office prior to Christmas, which was an unidentified male. When it was explained the reason for the call, the unidentified male stated there were no units available and may not be until end of January but in a suggesting tone he asked if a $100 deposit had been paid and was advised that only the application fee was paid and was told the $100 would be paid if a unit was available to hold. I am giving them 1 star because of the run around and the inconsistent communications provided by office staff. Melissa either provided inaccurate information or the unidentified male did not want to bother with me at all. Not only that, why would anyone pay $100 holding fee for a unit they have not seen nor is available? Arbor Lake please do better. For any future resident, if the communication is poor before you move in then I guarantee it will be worse if you move in."

"I've lived her for 4 years and it is my time to GO they ate TERIBLE! to touch SOME issues, 1 the maintenance team is garbage. I've got texts from a year ago and everything in the text has still yet to be fixed. My washer broke a couple months back and they refuse to replace it said I need a pest service first but when it was scheduled Noone came and it shouldn't effect you getting this broken washe that I pay extra for it uadmt worked I want a refund. My dryer hasn't worked in a year. My stove handle is broken.. ceilings leaked and so much water damage there is mold they never fixed it .all they want to do is raise rent and not do anything imleaving and can't wait I'd never recommend this place to anyone"
