"The review below from Elizabeth is spot on! The garage is frequently broken as is one of only two elevators. Office staff is unavailable and inefficient. The majority of my neighbors have complained about enormous exit fees after moving. Side exit door serves as leisure spot for the unhoused. Units facing the alley have noise beginning at 0500."
"My husband and I have lived at Camden Grand Parc for almost a month now, and we are absolutely loving it! It's a really clean and well managed building in the center of downtown, and our unit is beautiful. We have only good things to say about it and our experience so far. Our leasing specialist, Chase Jones, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all things Camden, and was an absolute dream to work with! Highly recommend him & the Camden Grand Parc!"
"Living at Camden Grand Parc was a total nightmare and I strongly recommend finding another building. 1. Camden lied to us about our apartment. Camden advertised a modern apartment with an updated kitchen and hardwood floors. We got an old kitchen and carpets. 2. The garage is CONSTANTLY broken. By this I mean you cannot access your car several times a month for days at a time. We paid $265/ month to park there and constantly incurred Uber, train, hotel, and nearby parking fees that made owning a car a nightmare. Camden stopped notifying residents of garage failures because they happened so often so we had to suddenly cancel our plans a lot. 3. BEWARE WHEN YOU MOVE OUT! Camden tried to charge us THOUSANDS of dollars in illegal and bogus move out fees. Luckily, my roommate and I are attorneys so we were able to fight the ~$8,000 worth of fees Camden tried to charge us. Still, it was a massive headache to deal with management and get the fees off our final bills. We would have loved to enjoy our time at Camden Grand Parc, because the location was very convenient for us, unfortunately management is an absolute nightmare and we would never live at a Camden property again."
"My experience at Camden Grand Parc has been exceptional, and I would highly recommend living here. What makes Camden truly stand out is the impeccable service provided by the friendly front desk members, property staff, and managers working here. I experienced this immediately upon move-in last January when the area was put under heightened security due to the Capitol insurrection. I was unaware that this specific area was affected, but in a call with a property staff member working in this building, I was proactively notified of difficulties that I could incur with moving in at my originally scheduled date, and I was flexibly offered a later move-in date for a smoother experience. The property staff member had no obligation to inform me of such difficulties which Camden Grand Parc wasn’t responsible for causing, and doing so delayed my rental start. In spite of this, the apartment manager put together a new lease so that I could move in later and more safely - demonstrating just how much the team here puts the wellbeing of their residents first. This is only one example of the exceptional customer service that I’ve experienced while living here. Every time I’ve put in a service request, maintenance has arrived within a day to resolve any issue - no matter how complex. When I was discussing a miscommunication issue about utilities pricing expectations with the manager, Jessica Brewster, she was responsive, demonstrated understanding around the issue, and refunded a portion of my utilities bill which was above the originally quoted price. On a day to day level, it’s clear that the most well-qualified front desk staff are selected to work here, as I’ve never been greeted by anything other than warmth and friendliness. The exceptional service, in combination with the incredibly convenient location, reasonable price, and beautifully maintained apartments, make Camden Grand Parc a fantastic place to live."
"I moved into Camden Grand Parc when I moved to DC, which I had wanted to do since I was a kid. I lived here for 5 years and have formed many good memories in this complex. Ultimately I moved to Dupont Circle because there isn't a lot going on around McPherson Square, it's mostly hotels, steakhouses and office buildings. That being said, I first moved to Grand Parc because it was two blocks from the firm I was working at at the time and if you are a first year associate looking to live somewhere you can walk to work, Grand Parc is a perfect fit. The concierge staff is excellent and the office staff is very responsive. It's a big corporate building so they'll be limited in what accommodations they can make with you and you'll get the occasional mystery fee, but good luck finding a big apartment building in DC that's any better. The Continental breakfast and gym are very convenient and if you face into the courtyard, you won't get a lot of natural light but it will be very quiet. The location also has a million transit options since it's across the street from a metro stop and many bus stops. I'll always remember reading a book in the park across the street from the White House a block away, jogging to the Washington/Lincoln Memorial, cutting up with Marvin at the front desk, and walking across the street to get to work. Great place for young professionals."
