"The cost of the rent increase to me was extremely high. Most places increase rent by 30 or 40 dollars a month, not by hundreds. The maintenance is very good. Everything that we needed done was done quickly."
"So far so good. Although my apartment was super dirty when I moved in, and it seemed as if the person before me had not cleaned anything in 2 years, I am enjoying my space. Everyone in the office, including maintenance, has been super nice. The community could use some serious updating and upgrades to the apartments and amenities, I have no complaints."
"I have been here for over 1 year and have enjoyed living here. It's a good location and nice having 2 gyms. The apartment is well designed and the people in the community are friendly. The staff are also helpful and prompt with any concerns you have."
"I have lived here for about 8 months now and have been very happy. The buildings are older, but the plus side is they are well built so I rarely hear my neighbors. I’ve only needed to call maintenance twice for minor things but both times they addressed the issues very quickly (less than 24 hrs after request). And the maintenance guys were very nice. Sierra in the office is very nice and helpful when I had questions touring the apartment and signing my lease. It’s a little pricey but that’s everywhere these days. Overall I’m very happy here."
"If I could give zero stars, I would. I tried to vacate my lease with 5 months left on it. I was told that I had to find someone to take over my lease or pay the remaining 5 months. I had at least 3 interested parties and the leasing office did everything they could to block anyone from getting the apartment. One guy called 4 times and left messages wanting to proceed with a lease takeover and he gave up because no one from the leasing office returned his calls. I guess when a tenant has a record of paying rent on time, it’s not in the interest of the property manager to make it easy for that person to vacate the lease. Why not just make them continue to pay, instead of taking chances on a new tenant? When Covid hit, I had to resign myself to the fact that I wouldn’t be able to get my lease transferred to a new tenant and so I paid the remaining $6,700 for an apartment no one was living in. I figured at least I’d get my $500 security deposit back, but when I got my move-out settlement statement in the mail, I found that they charged me the whole $500 plus an additional $65 for cleaning and repairs. $225 to replace a stovetop that was brand new when I moved in and that I used for a year and a half for cooking. I cleaned the stovetop every time I cooked. I should not be paying for normal wear and tear on a cheap appliance. Scratched oven door (?) $75, and an extra $50 for oven cleaning. So we are now up to $350 just for the oven/stove. I’ve requested receipts to prove the pricing and that the stovetop was actually replaced before the next tenant moved in. Still waiting on that. $95 to clean carpets that were brand new when I moved in and that were mostly covered with area rugs while I was living there. $50 to clean the refrigerator that I had emptied and cleaned. Drywall repair $50 for small nail holes that I had filled in and painted in the same shade as was on the walls when I moved in. I have no pets, I was the only occupant of the apartment, and I was meticulous in keeping the place in great condition. The attached photos are what I posted on Zillow when I was trying to have the lease taken over. I’ve heard similar stories from other former tenants. Apparently no one gets a security deposit back. I wish I had known then what I know now. I would never have dealt with such a corrupt organization."
