"Spring House at Brandywine is NOT Luxury Living. I moved into this apartment complex August 2021 and I have greatly enjoyed the surrounding community. I feel safe playing outside with my child and walking my dog. Most of the people I have met have been friendly including the office staff. Maintenance is currently extremely responsive. That said, the buildings are very old. The water pipes in the walls whistle. The windows/AC/water heaters in many of the units are in need of replacement. If you have children or like being active in your home please ONLY consider a first floor unit. Also if noise from neighbors walking/living above you could potentially be an issue, this is NOT the place for you. As an example, currently my downstair neighbor consistently and aggressively bangs on our floor and front door to communicate that our noise output is bothering her. This is in response to us doing normal living activities during normal living hours such as bringing in groceries, cleaning up, playing with our dog, having guests over, walking from one room to another. I was recently told by management to call the police and report her if I felt unsafe, which unfortunately I had to do. Not a great way to live. Again the buildings are old and you can hear your upstairs neighbors footsteps which can sound like stomping/banging. Much more so than in any other apartment building I have lived in. The amenities look nice at first glance. If amenities are important to you, please ask to look at them and really take the time to look. The beautiful pool, fire pit, grill at times are infested with an uncomfortable amount of ants or/and are just dirty. The filters on the pool do not work well even though one was replaced this summer. The dog park fence is in need of repair in multiple areas. The basketball courts/playground/tennis courts do not belong to this apartment complex and are located a few blocks away. We are allowed to use these amenities however the tennis courts are not always available to us. Management holds a key that tenants can borrow and it is on a first come system. Also my rent increased almost $200 after one year of living. $150 the second year. Please expect to pay over 100 dollars a month for sewer plus water. Overall, this is not luxury living. It feels more like college dorms."
"We moved in to Spring House at Brandywine in February 2023. I could not be happier with our entire experience here. The community is quiet, respectful, safe and family-friendly. The grounds are kept tidy and lush, the indoor spaces are clean and pleasantly decorated. While we don't use the amenities much, they are updated, clean, trendy in appearance and never crowded. Our two bedroom apartment has a perfect layout for both professional (I work from home) and private life. It is spacious, clean, updated and free from pests. Probably the best part, other than it being a quiet and safe place to raise my son, is the genuine courtesy and responsiveness of the maintenance team. They are prompt, respectful, and attend to requests almost immediately. Daryl leads by example and has a quiet competence that comes with years of experience. The community is conveniently located near many shops and restaurants, yet set off enough from the main road to feel more rural and secluded than it actually is. I absolutely love it here. I wish we didn't have to leave - for family reasons- and I only wish that the area we were relocating to had this exact community for us to move to. Rather than saying it is a 'luxury community,' I would say it is "refined and sophisticated." If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, unassuming yet charming and relaxing environment, you've found it."
"The Good: -Neighborhood is quiet - Very dog friendly area, lots of places to walk and plenty of sidewalks. - Never had any complaints about other residents, everyone was super nice. -plenty of parking The Bad: - This is NOT a "Luxury" apartment complex as it is advertised. You pay luxury price for cheaply furnished apartments and minimal amenities. (tiny gym, small pool, one outdoor space) -Beware of astronomical sewer charges. flat rate of over $100 per month for a one bedroom plus the cost of water usage on top of that. -be careful where you park your car, there are dead trees that have been dead for over a year and are ready to fall on your car at any moment. all in all, this would be a great complex if it were cheaper and not advertised as luxury."
"My experience at Springhouse at Brandywine as been great! I’ve been here for a year and I just renewed my lease for another 15 months. The office management staff are friendly and welcoming. Chris has gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and has responded promptly to any questions I have had. The maintence crew addresses requests within a few hours. The grounds are kept clean, the pool area is beautiful, the gym and office space are convenient, parking is plenty, and there are complimentary Starbucks beverages available at the clubhouse. I would highly recommend this community!"
