"it’s alright living here. hallways smell, found a homeless man sleeping in the gym one night. I feel like there’s no security which is kinda weird."
"If I could rate zero stars I would‼️ Management is super shady. One time I left something in the rec room And I come Back 1 hour later and it’s gone. I called asking where my stuff was and management admitted to taking it and they refused to give it back or compensate me in anyway. They denied my phone calls and wouldn’t give me a security camera footage of the theft. It was a super greasy act that management pulled. My items were of value that’s why I was persistent on going back and getting them I didn’t want another tenant to take it… but management openly admitted to taking my things and refused to give me a reason to why. Also there are cockroaches in the basement and they have cleaning people but they never come and it’s very gross here I don’t recommend living here."
"Place has great access to the town, a deck, gym, and other amenities. It's also clean and the rent is acceptable. No private parking for residents. Make sure you have a fan or something else to keep rooms cool cause rooms (at least mine) feel humid and warm during summer to the point where I'm sweating if I don't have a fan running 24/7 (at least you have a space heater for winter). Laundry is available here though the machines look iffy and I've had issues with the dryers eating my time and money and giving me damp clothes. I enjoy living here but the lack of good AC and constant issues with the dryers makes me feel it's deserving of 3 stars instead of the 4 I left initially"
"Really nice place to live, conveniently located in the heart of West Chester. Nice quiet building with laundry room, exercise room and game room. There is also a great deck with seating, hammocks, tables and games with a great view of town!"
"An absolutely lovely place to live. It was perfect for what I needed. Every other apartment complex building in West Chester is insanely overpriced. Sure, it doesn't have a grand entrance with chandeliers, a pool, fire pits, etc. But in all honestly how many people actually use the "community amenities". When looking at an apartment building many are persuaded by extravagant amenities and pay a crazy amount of money to live in such a complex - and then end up using said amenities once - maybe twice. That is why I LOVED The GreenTree Building - it was perfect for what I needed it for - a cozy & safe living space in arguably the BEST location in town. I never dealt with the noise of college students outside or inside. You can hear quite a bit when you walk through the hallways - but the second you close your apartment door any noise is gone. My apartment windows looked out onto the terrace and there were a couple times people were out there late at night and I could hear them - I simply purchased a white noise machine and it completely took care of any noise. The community manager - Annemarie - is wonderful. She responds immediately and is kind and perceptive. She became the community manager this past year (a couple months after I moved in) and in a short amount of time she made multiple wonderful updates to the complex. I believe it is her goal to update the complex without jeopardizing the amazingly affordable prices. The only reason I moved out was because of a lifestyle change. Wonderful place to live and I highly recommend it. Thanks GreenTree!"
