Reviews of Nautica
"I seldom take the time to write store reviews, but I felt compelled to do so on this occasion due to the exceptional service I received from the manager, Steven. His customer service skills were truly remarkable - he displayed utmost politeness and helpfulness throughout my shopping experience. He went the extra mile to ensure that I had a positive and enjoyable experience, and I am sincerely grateful for his efforts."
"Hello, I would like to express my utmost appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided by the manager, Steven, at Nautical Store in Anne Arundel Mall. During my recent shopping experience, Steven went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect outfit for my boyfriend's birthday. His impeccable sense of style and extensive knowledge in fashion made the process enjoyable and efficient. Steven took the time to understand my preferences and needs, offering excellent recommendations that exceeded my expectations. I am truly delighted with the outcome of my shopping experience and highly recommend Steven as a stylist at Nautical Store. Thank you once again for the outstanding service."
"So here is my take on this store! My shopping day at Arundel mills wasn’t the greatest because of holiday sales and I was actually there to find clothes for my babymoon at a cabin in Pa in few weeks, so I thought I’d catch a couple sales and add a little more to my winter closet! This was my first time in Nautica and I was initially hesitant to shop where I was unfamiliar but when I walked in I was greeted by a very personable Manager named Courtney. She said hi with a huge smile and asked if I was looking for anything in particular and I told her that I honestly didn’t know what I should be looking for in here because I usually have a more laid back look than what I was seeing in the store. I explain where I was going and what it was for, I also said I wanted to clean up a little bit but not feel uncomfortable. That’s all she needed to know. She led the way from there. She pointed out a few outfits that I could wear for dinner and lounge around in that were also versatile enough for an activity or two. One of the biggest issues I have walking into stores where I don’t resemble the posters or the brand concepts is that I’m not being treated respectfully by the employees. That was not the case here. Courtney sure warm and welcoming smile paired with her professionalism and personable demeanor definitely made me feel comfortable enough to come back and shop. Thanks for all the help, my wife loves the outfits!"
"This store, previously managed by Dawn, is now under new management led by Courtney. The atmosphere has become much more tranquil and organized since the change. Courtney has been exceptionally attentive to my needs every time I come in for my husband, and I am optimistic about the positive transformation of this store."
"Too bad I am reading the reviews after the fact. I had the same experience as others who have already complained about the store manager. It is sad that Nautica has not come up with a solution. She denied return of my shirt stating “we don’t sell these in store”; when I showed her Nautica return policy, she switched to asking for the physical CC (I had used the virtual card capital one offers, which she refused to accept). Seriously, with all the progress at other stores, how hard is it to return to original payment method? She then accused me of trying to knock off an employee who was walking behind me as turned at the billing counter to leave. I sincerely apologize for not having eyes at the back of my head. She called mall security this time too. I would never go back to this store again. E-commerce is taking over in-store shopping and these incidents just expedite the process. Maybe the store manager doesn’t realize or just doesn’t care. For my part, since I like the Nautica products, I called Nautica and reported this incident and am hoping they’ll address this. BTW, at the time of this writing, it looks the store manager has left a 5 star review for her own store and for self and claims that asking to honor the Return Policy is being “entitled”. Maybe this is how the person wants to prove she’s the “entitled one”."
