"This is a colonialist ,white area. It looks cheap. But once you get in you will notice there extra $13 dollar managers fee. Late fee is also high . As they give you cheap , they will always find some way to impose fees . My lease started from August 17 . They count the month 17 to 1 September. Took full fee plus 100 dollar more management fee. Since the officers are white, they will always do ignoring behavior . If you ask something being non white , they will never answer you correctly. They are the fee imposer ."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I had the unfortunate experience of living in this apartment complex, and I can honestly say it was a nightmare from start to finish. The management was incredibly unhelpful throughout my entire tenancy. When I encountered issues with the apartment, they were slow to respond and even slower to resolve anything. To make matters worse, when it came time for me to move out, they charged me for damages and cleaning fees that were clearly the responsibility of my roommate. I moved out 3 months before her and they were fully aware of this. They refused to reconsider the charges and insisted that I pay for someone else's mess. They said that they explained it to me when they didn’t say a word to me about it upon my move out. I sent them MULTIPLE emails trying to find some sort of solution about it that they did not respond to me about. I agreed to pay for damages that were caused by me but I did not want to pay for damages that weren’t my fault. I eventually ended up having to pay after the only email they finally sent was a threat to put me into collections. It's frustrating and disappointing to deal with such an uncooperative and unfair management team. I would strongly advise anyone considering living here to look elsewhere for a more reasonable and responsive place to call home. This apartment complex has proven itself to be nothing but a source of stress and disappointment."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE. My apartment flooded several times, which I was never compensated for. Th office is hard to reach and wholly uncooperative in helping resolve issues, and they unreasonably charge you for everything. The amenities suck, and my roommate had a bottle thrown through his window and nothing was done about it due to poor security and coverage around the buildings. Work is constantly being done around the complex which makes parking a constant hassle, with the risk that your vehicle may get towed , which is an additional stress especially for college students. This was by far the worst housing decision I have ever made. Save yourself the hassle and live at the gathering (similar rates, more amenities, and a similar distance from the university). I did not feel supported by the office and the apartment was already damaged when I moved in. The only good aspect of the flatts is the incredible work of the maintenance man Dallas, who was the only groundskeeper there for the majority of the two years I lived there (wanted to move out after the first year, but ran into issues bc housing in Salisbury is quite limited). Because only one groundskeeper and maintenance man was employed by the office, even getting work orders done was unnecessarily time consuming, which really took a toll when the apartment flooded. DO NOT LIVE HERE."
"The flatts is a nice place to live. They offer great amenities like a gym, game room, study rooms, and a nice outdoor pavilion to grill. I will say that prices are a little high for the smaller rooms offered. But make up for the nice kitchen area and private washer and dryer. The people here are very helpful if any concerns come up and the maintenance personnel’s are very sweet and genuine guys!"
"I have lived at this apartment for the last two years and have loved it!! The staff is incredible especially the maintenance man, Dallas, and the general manager, Stephanie. They are always extremely helpful and accommodating my needs and making sure that I am a happy tenant. The grounds are always kept clean, landscaping comes frequently, and you were always greeted with a smile when you come into the leasing office. I would recommend living here to everyone. The price point is very affordable and the apartments are lovely. If you are looking for a place in Salisbury to rent, the flatts is where you want to go!"
