"We lived here for two years and although the maintenance staff are lovely and very responsive those overhead not. They take advantage of every opportunity to upcharge when the building is falling apart - rust everywhere, hallway roof is crumbling, and they don't even professionally clean the windows every now and then. I lived with spiderwebs in all my windows. The gym doesn't have a proper bench. They underpay and overwork their cleaning lady who works the four buildings by herself. We had to move units because my partner witnessed a roof worker passing away (he wasn't wearing a helmet). The new unit had barely insulation, we were freezing because of the overdraft. Maintenance tried their best but its not up to them to deal with these bigger issues. Shower kept clogging, we even had plants growing inside the apartment since it wasn't sealed properly. We were paying $2,300 and they wanted to renew our lease with these conditions to $2,800. Please do yourself a favor and do not move here. Even for move-out they expect you to pay for detailed cleaning, the charge you for curtains that are basically made of paper, and wanted to charged me for the floor that was in bad conditions when we moved. They are vultures and the building is in super bad condition. Unless they invest millions they are going to loose the market to nearby apartments."

"The leasing agent Zahra was extremely rude and confrontational when I came to view the apartment. I would recommend staff development training in basic customer service skills for her. I withdrew my application because I was not comfortable giving my money to a place that has employees that are rude and disrespectful"

"Unprofessional and unorganized. Let’s keep in mind someone is driving from 4 hours away to go on a scheduled tour with me. Scheduled the tour days if not a week or more in advance, confirmed a time, gave all the information about the unit I was interested in. Leasing agent messaged me 1 hour before my scheduled tour with the information this unit was not available to tour until next week. No, I don’t not want to reschedule…. If only someone had provided me with this information more than 1 hour before the scheduled meeting. Unprofessional."

"I recently had an issue with my air conditioner unit and placed a maintenance emergency request. I immediately received a call from Ceasar to inform me he was on the way. After he checked the unit and fixed the unit. While completing a thorough check, he found a leak and fixed it on the spot! Had he not found it, there could have been extensive water damage. He went above and beyond to fix the issue! The staff at Carlyle Mill and their maintenance Team goes the extra mile to ensure their residents are taken care of!!"

"The staff at this residence have been some of the best in my renting experience. The maintenance staff member Phillip and manager Romero are always extremely helpful and seek to solve problems in a quick and efficient manner, whenever we do have a maintenance issue they are our go-to guys. Kim in the leasing office has been a great help with any of our rental or leasing needs, she’s very professional and sweet."
