"I drove in and asked for a one night stay for me and my pup. I was told the price and I asked if they accepted AAA or gave a senior discount. (I’m 70). The gentleman said yes and told me that he would give me a number to call to get the discount. He presented me with the invoice and asked for my credit card. I looked at him and said, “ You were going to give me a number to call for a AAA discount?? He responded, “ Oh, I’ve already printed the invoice so I can’t do anything about it now. You would have had to call before I made the reservation. At this point it was late, I had been driving for 7 hours and just wanted to have a meal and go to bed. Otherwise I would have tried to find another place. It was a Bait-and-Switch and made me angry. I will never stay at one of these ESA again and I come through this area at least 4x a year. Very poor customer service!"
"Never in my life have I seen a hotel that wants to charge you an additional fee for a late checkout. The lady running the front desk told me it would be more money even though the policy is noon for checkout with a late checkout. Spoke to the manager after I was already downstairs and he apologized. All they seem concerned about is getting you out of there. Customer service is definitely super low grade. The lady behind the counter shouldn’t be working in customer service if you don’t have any people skills. Late night check in took 20 minutes and the guy dragged on and on with what should have been a simple process. Will never stay here again!"
"The hotel had an unpleasant odor, including the lobby, hallways, and the room. The lounge area was locked and closed off to guests during the entire stay. The room key did not work on the fitness room door. The TV was missing a remote. No soap or sponge was provided with the kitchen cookware. Neighbor guests were very loud from 2am to 4am in the morning - throwing a party. The side door to the hotel was left propped open, which made me feel unsafe. The breakfast ran out of oatmeal which was the only decent breakfast option. Given how bad the room was, I feel $200 per night rate was too expensive. I will never stay here, or any Extended stay ever again. I will tell my friends to avoid Extended stay at all costs."
"Never again. I was stuck here for there for three weeks due to a major home repair and I would never stay at another Extended Stay America again if this is what they are like. The only reason I stayed was because of the lack of pet-friendly hotels providing extended stay options. Only 1 of the front desk staff seemed to know what they were doing or cared about the guests. From other reviews this seems to be the same person other interacted with. Walking into the room it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. When I complained to the manager, he brushed me off and said oh someone must be smoking nearby. No, this room reeked and you could smell is every time you walked through the door. The room literally made me sick. The room itself was bad. All pictures that were supposed to be hanging were missing with just the clips left on the walls, the wall was literally stained with something running down it, the bedding was disgusting (I had to ask for new bedding), the remote to the tv was missing, and the cabinet drawers had dead bugs in them. The only positive I would say is that it had great hot water (near instant) and water pressure. As for the rest of the hotel, the breakfast was just coffee and a mini-muffin or breakfast bar. The laundromat was useless as half of the washers/dryers were broken during my stay. And lastly the elevators had problems, seems only one worked at a time while I was there. Overall, unclean, unkept, and in desperate need of refurbishment."
"We spend over 40 plus days and would not do it again. Customer service is lacking. The first thing we had to did was cleaned the bathroom since it still dirty. The room was ok…it’s starting to look dated. We had to reset our room keys at least twice a week every week and we wasn’t the only ones having that issue. No one says good morning and breakfast was stale muffins if they didn’t run out. The cable TV was down for over a week no information from the front Desk on why and when it will be working again. Marijuana smoke in the hallways and staircase. They were out of kitchen utensils and pans. OK on the plus side great location to everything you want and parking was free. I hope you have a better experience than we did. BTW: there was one front desk worker name Erik who seem to know what was going on…so thanks."
