"If you want to battle with mice and rats move here, you’ll be paranoid 24/7, you’ll have anxiety and it’ll affect your mental health terribly,I’ve been battling with mice for some weeks now, after reporting the situation they left a note on my kitchen counter saying “Orkin Pest Services” was here, after dropping the note I immediately see a mice, meaning they did absolutely nothing, and don’t get me started on the noise, I can hear my neighbor’s microwave upstairs, there’s also a moldy smell, and you’ll hear water dripping inside the wall, It is terrible,I regret the day I moved into this apartment, it has caused me sooo much unhappiness, move here at your own risk.Maintenance came today I asked them so to behind the dishwasher and we found the biggest hole, how can a UDR complex have such huge holes in their apartments, their and then they maintenance man is telling me to wait till next week, I have to live with rats till whenever they decide to fix it. Worst Apartment I’ve ever lived in, I’ll be at their leasing office at dawn."
"This is my 2nd year here, and it will be my last. There’s so many things wrong with this apartment, but here’s 6 reasons you shouldn’t move here: 1) The walls are thin as paper! I can hear every little thing my neighbor does… from a phone vibrating to regular volume conversations, to snoring. I literally know all of my neighbors business because I hear everything she talks about. 2) When I first got my keys, the apartment was still dirty. There was trash and dead bugs all over the floor, and smashed roaches in the dishwasher (I haven’t used that thing not once in 2 years). After I complained, they claimed to have sent someone to clean “again”, but the same trash and bugs were in the same place. I just ended up doing it myself. 3) NOTHING is included in the rent. They nickel and dime everything. Trash, water, sewer, parking… none of it is included. But the rent is high. 4) No real amenities. Even the gym is a bust. 5) Parking is horrendous. You have to pay for parking if you don’t want to park on the street (which fills up SUPER quick) but even the paid parking can be filled sometimes. I actually had to go to someone else’s house to stay the night one time because I came home and there was nowhere to park for blocks. 6) The solicitors is insane! For the buildings to be “passcode secured” there is constantly people knocking on my door. I’ve also gotten notifications about maintenance doing work in my apartment AFTER it’s done. No warning or anything. The only plus side to this apartment is that it’s spacious and the layout is nice, but it’s truly not worth the cost or the problems."
"Been living here for abt 6 months now and can't wait to move out. Buildings are old and you can hear every movement your upstairs neighbor makes because of creeky floor boards. I asked them to fix that, was told they look at the floors after the tenant moves out ,generally. We waited for upstairs neighbor to move out hoping it would be fixed and of course it was not. New neighbor is worse than the old one. Bangs on floors, crying baby I can hear at night, weed smell throughout the whole building (yeah they smoke in front of their baby). Even moving in was a hassle, their parking options were confusing and basically tried to rip us off. Luckily, we used an issue we were having with our kitchen sink (leaking for weeks after move in date, even after multiple visits from maintenance) against them to get out of having to pay a $250 lease change fee. We didn't get a pet because their pet rent is also really expensive. The only redeeming factor of RF is the actual layout of the place is nice. Not worth the rent. Definitely as a student I would look elsewhere, or at the very least look for a top floor place."
"I lived here in 2021 for a whole year. My experience was great. This is a very clean and quiet community. Very family and pet oriented. My neighbors were great being that I barely heard or seen them. Any issues I had with the maintenance of my apartment was handled in a timely fashion. The only thing I had an issue with was mice. And they started to appear towards the end of my leasing term. Why? Idk. But the exterminator came in sessions to help with the issue. Hopefully they found a way to solve that mice issue. Other than that, I would recommend. Just seal up holes and had traps on deck lol. Oh yea, nice wood floors."
"I'm writing this review because the property managers are offering a raffle for $500 as an incentive. I'm fairly sure that's illegal, but here we go. I've been a tenant for four years. The location is important for my family and our apartment has a beautiful greenspace out front for my kids to play in. The apartments are now run by Bridge Property Management (as of January 2016) and it has that corporate feel, not the neighborhood feel it used to. Bridge added a playground in front of other buildings, which was unnecessary, because the tot lot and the elementary school are close by. They renovated the leasing office-- it looks nice but the entrance is in an awkward spot. Now they are committed to putting a pool behind my building (over the parking lot I use) and another parking lot out front only for the leasing office. I'm currently working with them to try to prevent this from happening. They want to chop down both of these trees and place the parking lot here. This decision shows a lack of connection to our neighborhood and a low value for what makes our community a great place to live. Honestly, these amenities they want to create are for the purpose of raising rent, which is already very high. I'm sure they will raise rent significantly in the very near future. I suggested that they create a partnership with Merritt for a reduced membership so we can have access to all the gyms and pool around the city but they said no. I do like the larger blinds they installed but not every unit has these. Having the washer and dryer is nice but the washer is extremely loud and the dryer sets off the fire alarm almost every time. If you are looking for a two bedroom, some have a closet in the master bathroom and some don't so be sure to check your unit. ALL UNITS ARE NOT THE SAME so insist on seeing yours. Sandra, the community manager, is a very good listener and maintenance is responsive. We had an issue once when a maintenance worker was unkind to my child. My son and my niece were drawing with sidewalk chalk outside and someone told them they were doing graffiti, upset them to the point of crying, took their chalk and reported them to the office -- then I received a lease violation for defacing property. For sidewalk chalk. I'm still angry about it. Everyone ended up apologizing and they returned the chalk but I still feel hurt by it and a bit awkward. This is where we live and I don't want to feel like someone is always looking over my shoulder so they can fine me or tow me or get more money from me by creating "amentities" we don't even want. It's definitely more of a business than a home. But the trees are pretty."
