"I've been living here for about 3 years now and have moved to a few different apartments which were all really nice. I like the safety precautions they have here. Also the staff here are so nice and super cool. Josiah has been really respectful and helpful with getting me transferring into different apartments. My dogs love him and Alexus!"

"This place could use some tightening up in management. The best thing going for the building right now is the front desk staff. Alexus is very attentive and appears to care for the concerns of the residents. My major concern is the consistent smell of weed (marijuana) in a so called "smoke free building". Do better guys... we pay a nice penny to live here. Give Alexis a raise."

"The company is horrible all around. It’s very contradicting when no one in the office is on the same page as well as their maintenance staff. Do not move in if you want a loving respectful home. When leaving this establishment I had a walk through with maintenance 3 different times and they cleared me, meaning reinsured me that everything was good and nothing wasn’t in compliance of their expectations. A month later they tell me I cannot receive my deposit and have to pay even more for a not being in compliance with the exiting expectations. It felt as if they targeted me since I was younger and very disrespectful. Not only is that the topping of all the issues but the whole living experience wasn’t at all pleasant."

"HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. Can hear through the walls, they seem to be very bias when conducting business with certain occupants. They don’t have no compassion. They make up their own rules when fit for their self interest. They will say one thing and do the complete opposite and when confronted act as if they have forgotten. I do not recommend at all if you want a happy smooth living experience."

"I’ve lived in this building for the past year and have mixed reviews. Cleanliness: Over the last year, I’ve witnessed a decline in cleaning cadences. The stairwells and common areas do not receive the same TLC that were ubiquitous when I moved in. Frequent odors are a concern near trash rooms. Overall, the building is a lovely space- free of critters, yet I wish my neighbors took more pride in the spaces we collectively share (Dog park, lobby, community room, and hallways). Customer Service: Alexis and Josiah are the BEST community consultants. They handle resident concerns with care, intelligence, and understanding. I’ve noticed that the engagement pieces are lacking (community wide) and would love to see more involvement in that regard, yet these two have done an amazing job. Our old leadership team were more engaged and seemed more approachable, yet I resolve that everyone has their comfort levels! I miss Brittany - she was dynamic. Pet-Friendly: My emotional support animal loves the Avalon! The building is an amazing place for our furry friends! While we are pet friendly, some residents take that to the extreme by failing to clean up after their friends yet our community ensures that the pet spa, dog park, and doggie welcome area are welcoming and ready to receive our friends. Security: I FEEL SAFE AT THE AVALON, yet I wish there was more emphasis placed around ensuring that those who don’t belong in the building cannot enter. On several occasions persons have been allowed to wander the building and solicit their services. Overall: You get what you pay for! I have some amazing neighbors and have started to develop wonderful friendships within the building. I’m glad to live at the Avalon and have felt that most of my needs have been met. Our team is very responsive and gives great customer service (for the most part). I have renewed my lease because it seems to be better than the neighboring properties."
