"I've taken both of my dogs here for their baths and brushing. Neither required clipping since they have short coats. Everything was fine. My dogs looked great and didn't appear to be stressed out at pickup. But the last few times, I haven't seen Lisa or the other staff and something is off. For instance, one of my dogs wears a gentle leader around his face because he likes to tug and weighs more than 60 pounds. He was nervous going in because he didn't see his favorite groomer and the new groomer grabbed his leash and started dragging him by his face to a kennel. Lisa used to put my two dogs together in the same pen in the back since one has high anxiety, also not happening anymore. The prices also went up quite a bit the last time I was in there. The place doesn't have that warm and fuzzy feeling Lisa brought with her. I am looking for a new groomer."

"Previously they have done a fine job. However, this time around I’m extremely displeased. They did not trim my pups rear end shorter like I requested. They did not trim his nails, nor does it seem him arms got assessed at all. I’d still recommend bringing your dog here, however, be ready to audit their work directly upon leaving."

"Custom Canines managed to turn my beautiful dog into an ugly dog. I have a Coton du Tulear, and always have her cut into a "puppy cut", which is adorable and makes her almost look like a stuffed toy. For some reason even though she has been there many times and always gets a puppy cut, this time somebody decided to SHAVE HER HAIR OFF everywhere except her head and part of her tail. I have no idea how anyone could make the decision to do that. Anyone who knows anything about dogs knows that a Coton is known for their beautiful white hair and now her entire body is so bald you can see her pink skin perfectly. They even shaved her adorable fluffy paws so now they are bony and hideous. I am so upset. Somebody at Custom Canines knew they messed up big-time too, because they called my husband to warn him of their mistake before he picked her up. I'm not sure how they can employ people to groom dogs that do not know how to groom. This is a disaster. They did not charge us but I don't really care about the $80. I want my cute dog back. Also, it's almost winter and now I'm going to have to buy her a sweater so she doesn't freeze with no hair. Stay away from Custom Canines!!"
