"The room was actually very nice. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and I had to listen to a couple allllll weekend long. The 1 time I asked them to be courteous to others they called the front desk. Anything beyond sleeping here is pointless. 10/10 for rest and stay. 3/10 for everything else."

"I was in Tyson’s for work and stayed at the Tyson’s McLean Double tree. I was disappointed. The building is obviously older, which is fine, but the rooms were small, the adjoining rooms had a little door where you can hear everything going on, the heating and a/c is inadequate (thermostat stayed on 70) the bed was definitely broken and made noises, and I just don’t really think that you are getting your moneys worth here. 300+ a night to be uncomfortable just isn’t okay. The staff was very nice, and accommodating. I asked to be moved to a room that wasn’t a connecting room and they put me in a non-deluxe king room … I haven’t checked yet but it looked like it was billed the same as my deluxe and it paid for double points but I’m not sure where the points are… Will follow up when confirmed. I have another week of being in DC and I am relieved I didn’t book both weeks here. Both key card quit working and my digital key by day 3 way hit or miss. Wouldn’t stay again. This is not the Double Tree by the pentagon, this will not provide the same luxuries as the ones further north."

"As a diamond member, we got cookies and bottled water upon checking in. The $30 credit can be used at the market. Front desk was able to watch luggage. The service here is probably the best . I would stay here again. Rooms were clean and the area was quiet. I didn't get to use the gym but it had a reasonable amount of equipment. For their market, iced coffee cups are with the front desk. Since the market is a convenience store, things were overpriced. Location was close to Tyson but walking wise wasn't easy. You have to cross major roads and make a detour."

"Great location for a quick work trip. Got to have my first DoubleTree gluten free cookie and it did not disappoint!! My room was ready early and cleaned to perfection. Bed was super comfortable, great shower pressure… felt right at home!"

"We were in DC for a meeting, and it was a great location. There are two malls directly across the street and a lot of dinning options in the area. The Metro is across the street at the mall as well and is part of the Silver line. The restaurant in the hotel is fine, the menu was not much to our liking but OK in a pinch. The main guy working the night we went was great! The hotel staff was very friendly and very responsive, we will definitely stay again when back in the area. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the hotel on this trip."
