Giant Pharmacy

"Horrible customer service. Charged a surprise fee $2.99 in addition to $32 for my 2 year olds medication because they didn't want to take the time to mix the flavor that was requested by the doctor. Rude and dismissive. Taking advantage of parents with sick kids. The end result is that they didn't even bother to mix the proper flavor - they just added grape flavor to the strawberry. OF COURSE my son won't take it now. Giant Pharmacy is horrible."

"The regular chain pharmacies have all gone downhill. Giant pharmacy actually answers their phone, fills scripts quickly, and makes sure all of your questions are answered. The manager, Steve, is great. I won't go anywhere else in McLean anymore."

"The worse pharmacy experience because of Michelle. She is rude and has an attitude problem. I have complained to the store manager 2 times about her already. She is rude and u helpful. Cvs is next door and they take their customer service feedback seriously. My neighbor just switched to them. This place is poorly managed."

"The staff at this pharmacy is completely incompetent. Every month I am forced to come here because it is the only pharmacy in the area that carries the rare medication I need, and every month they tell me that my insurance and copay discount card which are kept on file don't work. Every month I have to wait half an hour after my prescription has already been filled while the pharmacy staff look in the system and then miraculously it works. Last month the man working there assured me I would not have to repeat this next month. Today they were "looking in the system" and apparently tried to do something that resulted in them getting locked out of the system - so they weren't able to give me the medication at all. They told me I would have to come back and try again another day after they call my insurance company. I asked if they could transfer it to another pharmacy and they replied that the other pharmacy would have to call them to do that and they were closing in a couple minutes. It turns out I have enough of my medication, which I need to take every day without exception, to last me the next few days. If I didn't this would have been a serious medical emergency - but the staff didn't know I had anything. I have endured this monthly ordeal for the last time - I am absolutely never coming here or to any Giant ever again, not will anyone in my family."
