Staybridge Suites Tysons - McLean, an IHG Hotel

"No shuttle service as described on website when booking. I was told they don’t offer it anymore and to “ take an Uber”. I would have picked a different hotel had I known. Bathroom has a weird stain. Only one person at front desk and was busy for 10 min. Beds are spring mattresses and worn out and loud. Many large families staying here so very noisy as well - not a good option if you want quiet or to work. Chairs in breakfast area are peeling and dirty. Pro is people are nice enough at desk/housekeeping and grocery store in walking distance."

"Without a doubt one of the best experiences I’ve had at any hotel on a business trip. I travel a lot in my line of work and have spent many nights at hotels across the country but it’s rare to have the service I received at the StayBridge here in Tyson/Mclean. The front desk gentleman, Micheal, went above and beyond. He went out of his way to make sure my room was to my liking, ensured the room had the accessories needed for a long stay and also took the time to walk me through the ins and outs of navigating DC. There are no guarantees in life, but I do believe you will not be disappointed in your experience here."

"Im a picky traveler, and I’m in hospitality, in my career. That’s why I’m surprising myself writing this glowing review. Our family stayed at Staybridge last week. We had to make changes to our reservations and worried it would be time consuming and expected pushback. We of course paid for our changes, but we didn’t feel gauged while dealing changes a day before. Instead we had a real person, Michael, with real problem solving skills. I cannot say how welcome that is in this day and age, and how relieved we were for this trip, but then know that we can look forward to our next stays there. Helps a lot for our family dynamic (health issues and aging mother) to have such kindness and hospitality. Sorry to not have a photo but trust me it’s be of Michael! the rooms and linens deserve photos too. We had a suite, well two with Michael’s problem solving skills. Nice layout. Very comfortable."

"The best hotel I've ever stayed at! The full kitchen with separate bedrooms with their own bathroom is fantastic! Complete privacy. Great continental breakfast. Everything was clean and pleasant. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance."
