"We used to love this dog grooming place. We moved out of states for a few years and would still drive couple hours to take our dogs here because the ladies were so nice to them and our dogs loved them. However, since we moved back to the area I think the ownership has changed since I see new people working at the front desk as well as new groomers. Last couple times both my dogs had scabs all over their body after grooming. They act so scared as soon as we come near the grooming place and we have to drag them in. We also have to pay a handling fee for one of the dogs that the previous groomers called "an angel" and now my dog won't let me come near her face with scissors because she acts so petrified. We will be looking for new groomers."

"We have been using Pretty Paws for almost three years now and have always had the best experience. We tried other groomers closer to us (Fair Oaks/Government Center area) and found they could not compare in price and service. I cannot recommend them highly enough!"

"My dog has been coming here for over 5 years and Jina was her groomer. My dog was used to her and we never heard a complaint about her. Now there’s a new owner, he called me and then called my dad letting us both know our dog is ready for pick up. When I spoke with the owner on the phone he told me my dog is ready for pick up, I explained my mom will be picking her up in 40mins and I was also in a meeting for work. He asked if my mom spoke and understands English ? I said yes why? He went on to explain my dog is old and talk about how we shouldn’t wait until her fur is long and matted because she’s old. It felt like he was annoyed and then said I’ll explain to your mom when she picks up Millie. I hung up. My dad received another call while he was working, calls back and the owner went on to explain about how old our dog is, and asked how long until someone picks her up because she is barking and disturbing people ???!! WHO SAYS THAT! And then my dad is flustered with work and this call couldn’t let him think of a time but his own time when he’ll get off work. He said could I pick her up between 3-4pm he said no this isn’t a daycare? We know groomers aren’t daycares next time don’t say my dog will be ready in 4 hours. And then expect us to come in the minute you call ? There should be an hour grace period, we all may be stuck between work, traffic, kids. Also for this owner to ask if my mom speaks and understands English ? I mean if we couldn’t understand or if we have a language issue you will know first hand but it’s rude to ask. Especially when my mom went to drop off my dog and spoke English. The point no one should talk to customers this way especially the new owner! Thank you for sharing your complaints with us about our dog. I will never recommend anyone to bring their dogs here unless they don’t mind hearing complaints of their dog. Trust me I won’t be bringing my OLD dog back so she doesn’t annoy your poor soul again."

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at Pretty Paw Grooming and feel compelled to share my concerns. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment due to the negative effects it had on my beloved dog's health. Upon picking up my dog after a few grooming sessions, I immediately noticed something was wrong. My dog appeared extremely sick and lethargic as if he had been administered some form of sedation during the grooming process. This raised serious concerns for me as a pet owner, as my dog's well-being should be of utmost priority. For a full 48 hours following the grooming appointment, my poor baby remained in a state of drowsiness and sickness. He displayed a complete lack of appetite and thirst, leaving me deeply worried about his welfare. Also, I was surprised to be presented with a form to sign, stating that they would not be held responsible for any incidents or accidents that may occur during their care of my dog. As a devoted pet owner, I believe it is reasonable to expect a higher level of accountability from a professional service provider. I strongly advise pet owners to exercise caution when considering Pretty Paw Grooming for their furry companions. The health and safety of our pets should always be the top priority, and it is clear that this establishment falls short in that regard. I found a new growing for my baby and he has had two sessions without any issues."
